  • You're perfect. <3 :) I loved to hear this music, sing by you. It was really perfect your voice, it always great and lovely in this music. You're the best artist and great that has ever existed. <3 Love you

  • He should have played something really sappy to warn the band ahead of time.

  • @RollingOrmond Yes, I agree. He should have played "Helter Skelter," or "I'm Down." Or even "Oh Darlin!" That would have tipped them off!

  • @MoonlightGR Yeah, that he had 5% ballsy songs and 95% goo.

  • This guy has a future !

  • @Dio9O9 He's a member of The Beatles,he's already famous.DUH!

  • @rockinrodney5000

well the guy is obviously being funny...DUH!

  • This was Macca's '57 audition song & pickin that got him picked by Lennon for The Quarrymen.

  • What's the name of the guitar that Paul play??????????? Pleasseeeeee HEEEELP MEEEEEE!!!!

  • @IHSV: It's Paul's very first guitar. It's a Zenith. He bought it when he was fifteen. He traded a trumpet his father gave him for the guitar. He didn't realize until he got it home that it was a right handed guitar.

  • @tomthefunky Oh! Thank you so much dear Tom! :) This guitar is amazing!

  • @IHSV: Nah, it's a piece of junk.

  • @IHSV its called a zenith its pauls first, you can read about it in the beatle gear book

  • he doesn't even know the fucking words!!!!!!!!! he's a jerkoff anyway

  • @emaclynch Ofcourse he does.. This song got him into the Beatles you tosser

  • yeah he has got some talent

  • A 1956 Zenith model 17!

  • If you haven't seen "Anthology," get it, sit down and devour it. Many hours of bliss. And you come away understanding how the Beatles phenomenon happened, and how it happened the way it did.

  • I love him ^^ Amazing , he can sing EVERYTHING !

  • that guitar is soooooo coool :)

  • You can tell that this song takes Paul back..to the early days of the Quarrymen, with him playing this song for John. They say he blew 'em all away with his talent.

  • this is the song that Paul McCartney played when he first met John Lennon, in 1957.

    =)

  • paul's hair looks so pale on this video!

  • <3

  • Pretty damn good.

  • i love archtop guitars

  • @325Chuck355 his own from the 50s! I believe that its called a framus zenith! he had it sanded down and had the pickguard taken off by the time this video was done! Beautiful guitar though!

  • @Mrlearnings Indeed! I want one >D

  • @325Chuck355 if you find one, let me know!

  • great version

  • actually there's a full beatles version, they performed it during their let it be/get back sessions, and opposed to most covers during the sessions it#s taken halfway serious.

other covers of those session are the whos a qúick one while hes away, the stones lady jane, hosue of the rising sun, papas got abrand new bag and many many more.

  • @WildmanBorneo

If you dont like it, then dont watch it and dont comment... there is no point in making others angry with ignorant comments like these.

  • @bandgeek195 Free speech, ever heard of it shit head !

  • @WildmanBorneo

I've heard of it. I just keep my crap comments like those in my head. You're just rude so i'm not bothering to argue with you anymore.

  • man can someone tell me where i learn to play this song like that?

  • You know she called me up on the telephone, Said come on ever baby 'cause I'm all alone. I said baby you're mighty sweet, But I'm in bed with aching feet. This went on for a couple of days, But I couldn't stay away. And I walk one, two flight, three flight four, Five six seven flight, eight flight more. Up on the twelfth I'm starting to sag, Fifteenth floor I'm ready to drag. I get to the top and I'm too tired to rock.
  • Paul used to be the bagpipe player for The Ruttles. They went on to international fame and fortune but they fired Paul just before their frist record came out - "bagpipe bands are old hat" explained George "Piggie" Martin when asked about his decision to fire Paul. Paul still holds a resentment to Piggie to this day. "He wouldn't let me play me pipes" says Paul, by most accounts the greatest loser in pop music history.

  • @TheRadicalLiberal wtf are u talkin 'bout biatch

  • @MrEddie89 If you knew anything about the early Beatles and about the Ruttles you'd get it. Paul is a mixture of Pete Best and Ringo in my retelling. I was drunk. I thought it was funny. Guess you have to have a sophisticated sense of humour to get it.

  • @TheRadicalLiberal yeah cause nothing says sophisticated more than rambling drunk nonsense on youtube vids.

  • Nothing's better than hearing Paul play pure rock n roll. It's where his heart really is.

  • apparantly that's his first guitar!

  • what anthology ?

    1 ,2,,3,4,5,6,...

  • @s997da the 1st one

  • I heard this guy, Paul somethin or other, used to have a Rock'N'Roll band Without a Sax! They were called the bangles or something like that. Did anyone ever hear of them?

  • @Gwhitebeard LOL what a loser within the music business!!!

  • Fun fact:

Paul owns the original double bass that Bill Black used on all the classic Elvis tracks including his gold suit performance on the Milton Berle show. Linda bought it for him for his birthday (at a cost of around one million! [so I read])

  • Paul does "Twenty Flight Rock" (Key of A: 1A-2D-5E) He uses open chords. What I do is I use an A Bar chord on the 5th fret, a D Bar chord on the 5th fret, and an E Bar chord on the 7th fret. I can easily transpose to any other key up and down the neck of the guitar with the Bar Chords I use. Great song!!!

  • wow your a real einstein -.-

  • In the 50's he and the others did

  • He is trying to sound like Eddie Cochran. Hero worship never goes away, even for Sir Paul!

  • @john26660

That's the thing that amazes me. I don't know if you've seen the entire Anthology, but at the end, George, Ringo, and Paul get SO giddy when talking about having met Elvis. Then George talks about how he ran into him a few years later and they just worship and soak in every little minor detail about their meeting Elvis, just awe struck. I mean, the three remaining Beatles, legends in their own right and legends who get people fawning over them all the time, were going gaga for Elvis

  • @john26660 Wow thanks for clearing that up. Next he'll try sounding like Carl Perkins on Blue Suede Shoes, or maybe even Elvis (Presley not Costello)

  • Actually, he already did. Listen to "Live at the BBC" and he does a great Elvis on "Thats Alright Mama"

  • @john26660 it's just for fun ;-)

  • cool

  • The very song Paul played when he first met John Lennon - and plated here on the very same guitar, too (Paul's first guitar, which he obviously still owns, a 1956 Zenith Model 17).

  • Best part of Anthology.

And Paul still looks so good in this. Wish he still looked like this :)

  • favorite song

  • All Pauls years of experience showing in the VERY stylish way he is playing guitar

  • He's using a Framus Zenith model 17 Guitar

  • Quite amazing how it's still in good shape..he bought it in 1956!

  • His first guitar is it not?

  • Yes, but he did have it fixed up once or twice.

  • does somebody knows what kind or model guitar he's using¿ sorry if i'm wrong writing english, i'm from mexico. so sorry

  • My favorite scene from Beatles Anthology! Thanks for posting!

  • Hey it's mine too!

  • wasnt this a guy a moondog?
