  • @evickiwilson Outstanding. Your dad and my friends dad did a great service to this country. So glad that officer against Navy Policy filmed some of the escort trips they did. Keep that album, it's priceless. Thanks for finding this video also. JD

  • @jdizzy47 - I sent in a request for information about my Dad to the Veterans Records in St. Louis. I am hoping they can give me his military history. I only have his training certificate and his Naval picture along with a picture of the ship. I watched the video today and one of the crewmen has similar facial features to my dad.

  • @evickiwilson Wow wouldn't that be something. A long time ago. What a great thing that would be to be able to confirm. Good luck with your records search and post back.

  • @evickiwilson

My dad Is Joe Zavagli I used his photos in the film If you would like a copy and the photo of your dad just send me a email pzavagli@aol.com be glad to share.

  • It was a honor to have taken this footage shot by the unknown officer, kept by others over many years and given to me by good friend who's Dad served on this ship. Just tried to make it interesting with the music. It was a labor of love at over 30 hours of editing to make it flow right. So few of these vets are left, but they will live on through the pictures and films that we will continue to have at a click of a mouse.

  • I love history especially when it has to do with Navy and Marines, thankyou for putting this up. Love the music as well.

  • @TheUSMCDevilPup Thanks I appreciate it. We are forever greatful for those who served during this time and during all periods of US engagements.
