This boss is so easy i never understood why people have trouble with this boss just target the horn with flare and flare sword and have jiro heal shu and kluke. simple if you have been fighting every enemy you see this battle is cake

@saturnurameshi IKR even the first time i played through this game he was simple and btw you always have flare it's the first spell you have once you activate the shadows in the desert you should have flare for kluke and flare sword for shu so i'm not sure why there are so many people with first boss is too hard issues here. Flamboyant Dinoram is as simple as first bosses get.

@halosmallmac ok try dragon bosses, king poo, gold mecha robo, then shuffle dungeon after that if its still "easy" do hard mode then repeat and try impossible mode also which boos/enemy did u try to lose against?

On normal with 99's u can lose if unprepared or caught off guard as some have 999 dmg moves and some can deal 600-900 dmg to your entire party and that is without a shuffle mage boost The only one i have yet to beat perfectly is the kaiser kelolon as he removes one of my guys right before i kill him

My strategy is to Level up to 10 for Jiro, Shu, and Kluke. MAKE SURE KLUKE'S DRAGON IS BLACK MAGIC. Black magic spells are the key to victory in this fight.

@insanegothism101 i just beat him AGAIN awhile ago. Back when i first got this i didnt know anything about elements and so i only did physical attacks.(Dumb me) you need to be a level 9 if ur only going to do physical attacks. Recently i beat this at level 6 with no problem. That was when i knew all about elements.

basicaly, you must use strategy from this boss........

First of all try to examine all the things of the map, then you resive gld, exp or items including accesories, and then equip the stronguest strenght and defence accesories to Shu the medium defence and attack accesories to yiro and te magic defence and attack to Kluke then keep attacking with Shu and wnen Kluke or Yiro are weak then use the cure skill nd whith Kluke you must keep attacking whit the fire skill and bam, victory at level 8

this boss battle was easy for me just put kluke and jiro at the back atttack with shu n just keep using blake magic on his head the all i did was one last attak on its head with shu after it lowerd its head

I just placed Kluke at the back (as she takes the most damage and has the least health, but is also the best person in the party to take on the dragon), and put Jiro and Shu to the front so Shu could attack the dragon whilst Jiro healed both. Worked.

if you defend with shu, heal him with Jiro whenever low and spam magic attacks with Kluke, it's an easy win

Beat this boss on the second try. How? I leveled all my guys up to LV 10 and RK 17 Yes it took a while, but well worth it. Shu's Shadow Class: Sword Master Jiro's Shadow Class: White Magic Kluke's Shadow Class: Black Magic Use Shu's Attack because his Spells don't work well against this boss. Use Kluke's Flare Spell Use Jiro's Heal Spell to who ever takes damage. *Kluke will mostly need it since she has the lowest HP* With in two - three battle phases you should defeat him. Hope this helps

@Ajwajw11 Im sorry, you are wrong. Sword Master skills do not do great damage on this particular boss. However when your Black Mage has done suffiecient damage on it, its head will drop. That is when you use your Sword Master and aim his head.

This boss is easy, whole game is easy, my characters were pretty low levels and only boss that was real pain in the ass was the last boss. King poo was too difficult to beat at so low leveled characters and some of those others optional bosses.

This is the first boss, i am on disc 3 and he is the one i found hardest. To everyone who can't do it - keep training up you levels, then when you are ready, go back to the village and heal yourself. It took me 3 goes to beat him lol.

I beat him with Shu as a level 7 and the others level 6's. You just have to kill a lot of those enemies in the field and once you're about to die, go back to the village and sleep at the inn. Also, get about 10 or 15 potions and about 5 phoenix talons.

level 7 have two black magic users in your party use shu and kluke has black magic users have jiro change formation to the back and heal when needed with jiro try to do 100 to 150 damage a turn he has about 500 hp thats how i beat him
