I'm an experimental Pop/progressive rock musician from Denmark and i have a question for you. I really need the program you use, to backward my recordings. Thats something that i feel i'm going to need in the future for the more experimental songs i'm going to make. What is the name of the program you use? Nice guitar btw. Nice looking as always. :)
@johnnybeane yeah,i got a roland cube 60,just a clean sound,and a roland cube 80X,with metal sounds,and distortion and stuff,btw,for the song "tora tora",can you play the intro with a wilkinson tremolo?
Removing all the strings at once when changing them causes no ill affects on the guitars neck. The truss rod might have to be adjusted every once in a while, (a great while) But it will certainly not damage the neck. Playing the guitar this way really poses no more stress to the neck then what occurs with normal playing. (strumming, bending, tremolo arming, tuning and of course, changing strings.) I would be more worried about unseating the bridge posts or waring out the springs.
Any chance you have an electric piano and an mxr flanger on hand? LOL. If you don't that's ok. You still rock man! Keep posting those cool VH tips. BTW i have those same magazines of Van Halen. I love to collect classic Van Halen memorabilia. They've been my favorite band since '84.
Man, that was awesome. Thanks for sharing that tip. Cool to know how it was done. I was wondering if you know how to play the opening to "And the Cradle Will Rock." I always wondered how he played that part. It sounds cool.
i wanna know how Eddie figured how to do all this stuff on guitar, its crazy

Hendrix and The Beatles did a lot of trippy backwards stuff on their albums.

It's Adobe addition which is a newer version of cool edit.
Ive upgraded again since to CS5.5 and it looks a lot different.

@johnnybeane ahh, would you say it's better? than CEP?
BledsoeBluvd 1 month ago
@BledsoeBluvd
Yes because it has a lot more features but it looks different so it's not as easy to use. Cool edit and adobe looks almost the same.

johnnybeane 9 months ago
Ok your instrument not mine, why do you think they suggest to not remove all strings at once when changing them?
thisplacesucksbig 9 months ago
@thisplacesucksbig
Watch Eddie in concert.
He does that in his guitar solo every night.
johnnybeane 9 months ago
Taking the strings that loose may damage the neck I value my instrument more than that.
thisplacesucksbig 9 months ago
@thisplacesucksbig
Not when using 9's and for only a few seconds.
Ive been doing this for years and never hurt my necks.
