He will go down in history as 1 of Americas king of country artist & will always be remembered as that He is an inspiration to many of todays country artists as the older artists were to him which is why we still have some of the old country in todays music i hope it stays. @fhotlips I feel your loss so very deeply as I too lost a son to S.I.D.S. . I lost him on Dec. 25, 1981 he was 7 weeks olds. I know it has been a long time but the pain is still there to this day. It brought a tear to my eye when I read about your great loss. I am not sure how long it has been for you but the pain will ease with time but never leave you. Your Grandson is now in God's hands and is loved and cared for till you get there to raise him and care for him.
I think of my grandpa when I listen to this song, I never felt pain till I lost him in 1996, I just take one day at a time now. Love you forever grandpa. RIP
I am 19, my dad just passed away in August of a heart attack the day before I started college. This was his favorite song. I have two younger brothers and a mother that are doing well with God's help-as am I. I know that my dad indeed did see God today. I lost my son Sean this Nov 4th 2009 to an addiction to his Ritalin. This song reminds me how precious he was. I miss him so. I will be fine Sean, you go talk to your hero Jesus. I haven't heard this song in so many months, maybe even a year. Today I've been having a terrible day and thought God forgot about me and asked him earlier that if he was watching me to show me, almost right after a butterfly fly's by and lands next too me, I am so happy I remembered this song. I know God is watching me even in the worst times and when I lose faith :) Remember in even your worst times he's always next too you, watching you and keeping you safe!

1st heard this song while PG w/ my daughter.I used to sing it to her before her birth & 2 other favorites(Baby Mine & Tiny Turned Up Nose).She's now 2 & ever since her birth I've continued to sing the 3 songs,though now it's by her request.She can't sing herself but knows every word & if I make a mistake (on purpous) she says 'oosps;couple hodding hans" or words to whatever part I 'messed up on'.A fitting,well put together video 2 a very beautiful song. Wonderful job,thank you,from both of us!

@fhotlips I feel your loss so very deeply as I too lost a son to S.I.D.S. . I lost him on Dec. 25, 1981 he was 7 weeks olds. I know it has been a long time but the pain is still there to this day. It brought a tear to my eye when I read about your great loss. I am not sure how long it has been for you but the pain will ease with time but never leave you. Your Grandson is now in God's hands and is loved and cared for till you get there to raise him and care for him.

I am 19, my dad just passed away in August of a heart attack the day before I started college. This was his favorite song. I have two younger brothers and a mother that are doing well with God's help-as am I. I know that my dad indeed did see God today. Thanks for posting this song, it brings back a lot of good memories that I spent with my father and my family.

It is hard enough for me as an "adult", although I still feel like a kid. I am sure that our fathers are looking down on us with pride-let's carry on for them! :)

I lost my son Sean this Nov 4th 2009 to an addiction to his Ritalin. This song reminds me how precious he was. I miss him so. I will be fine Sean, you go talk to your hero Jesus. I am going to see you you when it is my time. Thank you God for taking his pain away. God bless people with this addiction, just like alcoholism it is a shameful disease society scorns them, and they are hurting. Be compassionate and learn their battle is hell on earth.

Eric Sept.2nd,2009.He, too was dealing with an addiction.Due to not being able to stop and feeling like he was wrecking our lives...he took his own.When they told me they were unable to revive him,I think I was stunned,but the first thing I said was -"he's at peace".It's so true that help isn't so easy to come by. You and Sean will be in my prayers from this day forward.XO
