  • jesus is the coolest

  • @theoceanse =] yep

  • @LadyXenoAcid im studying scientology too

  • @theoceanse I see.

  • After all these years 2:39 still gives me the chills

I was so lost but now am found

    Glory to Jesus!

  • I remember when I asked Dad why the song was about Jesus is for Losers, I didn't understand that. But as I see it, sinners are losers, because....we would lose without Jesus Christ, we would be sent to Hell. But he came down and saved us, losers/sinners like us.

  • Without him we can do nothing, i am the alpha and the omega. I paid jesus my heart for the Children of God LIfetime membership.

  • I would like to meet Steve Taylor some day to thank him for his influence on my spiritual development.

  • @fallenlester I am here with his daughter

  • @fallenlester I had the privilege of meeting him after his set at Knott's Berry farm back in the 90's. He was incredibly humble, warm, open, and encouraging.

  • @ripmev

What is more imaginary? God over all creation, or Darwin, and an foolish idea that life came from nothing, for no reason!

Do not buy the delusion of evolution!

  • @EF2000CanFly I'm sorry dude, but we are here for no reason, just like the dinasoars were there for no reason..

  • @GwnArne Okay, think about that statement. If there is no purpose for life and there is no judgement or afterlife, the evil things that Hitler did and the good things that Mother Teresa did are exactly the same. They are equal in every way, neither evil, nor good, simply random convergences of matter. Does that make sense?

  • @TheLeftHand88 The evil thinks that Hitler did, and the good thing Mother Teresa did, are good, and bad, That does NOT mean there actually is a result from that. The only possibility to judge people by goodness, or badness, is done by us, humans, as right now: we are hunting down gadhaffi and he will face trial, as he has done bad things. if he didn't do bad things, we wouldn't be hunting him (:

  • @TheLeftHand88

Uhhh... what exactly are these "good things" Mother Teresa did?

  • Only if we are willing to lose our life will we gain eternal life in Jesus Christ.

  • The ultimate paradox.

  • Thank you Jesus for sticking with this loser.

  • Only YOU can make yourself winners and you don't necessarily need Jesus for that! I used to think so until I finally realized that he won't save everybody and pratically ignored my cries for help when I wanted to be saved. I've grown a pair since then. Yes, humanity is crippled and it sucks. Guess what? Jesus won't do anything about it! So you've only got yourself nowadays to give yourself the courage and strength that you need. That may not be much but that's all you have. It's all up to you!

  • @Big2thaTony I don't think the song is talking about not being a loser by like being a "winner" like having a fun, prosperous, and pain free existence on this earth. I think he's talking about a personal relationship with a creator who can actually empathize with suffering because He suffered on our behalf. So the idea of a winner/loser paradigm becomes meaningless in this context and is replaced a with a life of genuine love and gratitude even amongst the hardships of this crippled humanity.

  • @Big2thaTony If you wouldn't mind, could you tell me what happened to make you feel so jaded?

  • God is a crutch. That would be a bad thing, if it weren't for the fact that Humanity is crippled.

  • My brother and sister in law are one of those "self made" christians. Full of pride and self-ritiousness.Always looking to see who sees what great Christians they are. I am not a great christian, It is only by the grace of God that I am saved. I use to listen to this song over and over!

Yes, Jesus is for losers like me.

  • Many people are replying to this video saying "nuhuh, Jesus isn't for losers!" I highly encourage you to slow down, take a deep breath and listen to the lyrics. This is a song about grace- Jesus is for people who need to be saved. This is a song about God accepting you the way you are- broken, sinful and incomplete. Please don't misquote any more scripture till you really listen to the words.

  • He really points out some series problems with the church in america. Ignoring the taboo tag isn't given he really puts it out there. And to many Christians are saying he's talking against Christ.

  • God thinks there for I am.

  • What he is saying is that those who are self made, or think they can do life all by themselves are not who Jesus is looking for. You can't be self made and be accepted by Christ. Either He runs your life or you do. And those that choose to run life all on their own usually don't do a very good job of it.

  • is the stuped

  • @sasukeitachiuchi1 you're stupid, learn to spell! Steve Taylor is a great musician and his songs push the Christian envelope which is also great

  • Dave Thrush will be doing a LIVE interview on Ethan Tudor W's "The Neverhood Show" at Blog Talk Radio, Monday Oct. 25th at 10am (PST). Dave will be on to talk about his days touring with Christian Superstar "Steve Taylor", and will be taking LIVE call in questions from the fans. It's at The Neverhood Show, at Blog Talk Radio Dot Com, The LIVE call in number is 1-347-324-3691. Dave Thrush was the Sax Player with "Steve Taylor & Some Band" for MOST of Steve's touring career.

  • People, do some research before passing typical religious judgment.

  • maybe Steve's second most important song after "Clinic"

  • Wrong!

  • Droopy, not only do I know it's pro-Christian, that's what draws me to it. S.T. not afraid to tell it like it is :)

  • It's all about what God says and what you believe. Take what you believe to God. He'll show you why you believe. If you don't believe you have a depraved heart, you don't need a Savior. You are your god and your own savior. Good luck.

Or you can discover riches and life beyond your imagination! A promise in action!

Oh, about the song...Jesus is for Losers, here you are, now go do your homework.

    Matthew 10:39, Matthew 16:25, Mark 8:35, Luke 9:24, Luke 17:33, John 12:25

  • if you are a loser, you need Jesus not if you are a loser it's Jesus' fault!

  • This is one of his best songs ever. And how true the message is, what surprises me is that Christians today refuse to accept this message. In their sick opinion, "We are all winners." Please take note that the Christians will never play this on radio and they have admitted to not liking the message because it was, "HARSH" Well, the truth hurts. I'm a proud Christian myself, and I agree with this song 100%.

  • @Kyou2473 I agree, not winners yet, but "DESTINED to win" as the D&K song from the same time era states :) But also consider "proud Christian" is an oxymoron.

  • God is doG backwards.

    WHY?!

  • @HeyYourPartOfIt you should better ask why dog is backwards God because the word god was before the word dog!! in earlier times there were just wolves and no dogs ;)

    Gby

  • @HeyYourPartOfIt I guess it shows that He was humble as a dog... I know if that's a stupid comment or not...

  • I was a loser before I met Christ. And without him... I lose again.

  • Best lyrics Steve ever wrote in my opinion. I love this song!

  • i have always loved this song, but i have never seen the video before. thanks for posting!

  • A good do the deeds you did at first song....they are always needed

  • Some christians criticize the lyrics of this song, and i dont understand why.

First of all, the lyrics are truly Biblical. Jesus spent his last years doing nothing but helping losers, and he still does, so it would be fair to say that he is for losers.

Secondly, i dont really think the term "loser" is such a negative remark. Its not positive either. Its just a term used to describe someone who needs help. Needing help is not something to be ashamed of.

  • Luv Steve and his ministery. I love Jesus!!!

  • Great artist!! This is my favorite Taylor song....GREAT LYRICS!!

  • Steve Taylor the first and the last ORIGINAL Christian music artist. Everyone else was a clone.

  • carbon dating? This song inspired thoughts about carbon dating in your head???? But then again, Jesus is for ALL of us losers, we've got about 120 years or so to figure that out. The cold, impersonal facts about the earth and it's age are ill-equipped to help us answer the question, Who is Jesus and how will I respond to Him.

  • What does this mean? If it takes about 30,000 years to reach equilibrium and 14C is still out of equilibrium, then this shows that the earth is not very old.

  • Dr. Libby chose to ignore this discrepancy (nonequilibrium state), and he attributed it to experimental error. However, the discrepancy has turned out to be very real. The ratio of 14C /12C is not constant. The Specific Production Rate (SPR) of C-14 is known to be 18.8 atoms per gram of total carbon per minute. The Specific Decay Rate (SDR) is known to be only 16.1 disintegrations per gram per minute.

  • If the cosmic radiation has remained at its present intensity for 20,000 or 30,000 years, and if the carbon reservoir has not changed appreciably in this time, then there exists at the present time a complete balance between the rate of disintegration of radiocarbon atoms and the rate of assimilation of new radiocarbon atoms for all material in the life-cycle (from W. Libby, Radiocarbon Dating, Univ. of Chicago Press, Chicago, Illinois, 1952).

  • In Dr. Libbys original work, he noted that the atmosphere did not appear to be in equilibrium. This was a troubling idea for Dr. Libby since he believed the world was billions of years old and enough time had passed to achieve equilibrium. Dr. Libbys calculations showed that if the earth started with no 14C in the atmosphere, it would take up to 30,000 years to build up to a steady state (equilibrium).

  • Assumptions in the scientific community are extremely important. If the starting assumption is false, all the calculations based on that assumption might be correct but still give a wrong conclusion.

  • Oh and Carbon dating .... It is assumed that the ratio of 14C to 12C in the atmosphere has always been the same as it is today (1 to 1 trillion) which is really not known. Also, Dr. Willard Libby, the founder of the carbon-14 dating method, assumed this ratio to be constant. His reasoning was based on a belief in evolution, which assumes the earth must be billions of years old.

  • It's just that Creation Science doesn't get the media hype nor the consideration in so called "science journals" because of the evolution's bias against anything that challenges their world view. They throw out facts if they fly in the face of the "sacred theology" ....... any deep true study on the foundational beliefs of evolution (including long ages) shows that it is not science, but a religion based on a very week faith called "Assumption".

  • Creationism can never find its way into a scientific journal because it is a theological concept; whereas science is solely what can be observed and replicated via the scientific process which is purely evidence based.

Also, I consider the six day creation to be the best explanation to people living before we new anything about black holes, virtual particles, DNA, etc... How God was over and above creation and that no element within the universe was to be mistaken for God.

  • Not that I do not think that God created, but I think God created because of my personal christian experience. It is something I except on faith, I will never be able to claim that science proved it out. While I can use my ability to reason in saying that the universe needs a first cause, and virtual particles spontaneously generating around a black hole is probably not a sufficient answer for why the big bang eventually resulted in human consciousness.

  • The only reason anyone would even question the length of any days in the Bible is because the evolutionists have lied to you over and over again.... Creationists take the same evidence as the Evolutionists, but interpret it differently, and find that same evidence actually disproves evolution and billions of years theories.

  • Or because while history corroborates elements of Christianity like the resurrection and various Old Testament prophecy, it does not explain why dinosaurs were buried for millions of years. A basic class on geology will show that the earth is extremely old, don;t even get started on the wonders of astronomy.

I do not believe that when Christ comes back he will literally be a lamb with seven horns, and neither do I believe that seven literal days of creation took place.

  • you have a few of your facts mistaken. science is far from perfect and the sooner you beleive that, the safer you will be. the earth is under 10 thousand yrs old and evolution is a hoax created by the devil. dont fall for his traps plz. god bless.

  • People who work at science certainly can be very mistaken. But the universe is apparently very, very old... this can be seen in many things from cosmology to geology.

Now, I am understanding of creationists who believe, as I once did, that God created a mature and complete universe at a certain point of advanced development. A God who can make the big bang certainly would not lack for capability.

But I have to ask why he would bury dinosaur bones? I just don't think he did. God bless.

  • He didnt create the "big bang", thats a falsehood, and the flood buried dinosaur bones and no, our universe is not old. science has proven it is with flawable methods. Peace.

  • Do you realize how long it takes for a Galaxy to form like ours? A long time. One can look through a high powered telescope and see galaxies whose light has taken millions, if not billions of years to reach our planet. It is like a time machine, galaxies further from us are in earlier stages of development than the ones closer to us. The time required for stars to form, go supernova, and then have new stars reignite in their place but now with life supporting chemicals and planets is huge.

  • Science has done well in trying to explain the workings of the universe and mislead our young students. Science trys to disprove God existance at every step so basically it comes down to faith. Jesus is returning soon. Hopefully you are on the right side by then. Satan is falling and he's going to take billions with him, dont be one of them. God bless.

  • Not even remotely true. Science does not work to disprove God, it can't by definition. One should never have to scompromise on what is true in believing in Christianity.

The person who formulated the big bang theory not only was not trying to disprove God, he actually was a fervent Christian himself. Some actually felt the theory should be opposed because it did not mesh with atheism.

  • Well that may be but the "big bang" is not in God's Word and as a "christian", thats where you should be looking. God bless.

  • There are a lot of things in this world that are not in the Bible, that is not a bad thing. It is only a couple thousand pages long. Also, I do not believe that Jesus Christ is returning as a literal lamb with seven horns. There are passages of scripture that are either metaphor, figurative, allegorical, parables, or other non literal material. This is not to say it is all non literal by any means. Christs resurrection and the exodus of the Jews for example. These must be true for Christianity.

  • All Revalation ( the book) is figurative, but the rfid chip is alrdy in circulation, the "beast" alrdy runs many departments in the UN and all countrys, and christs return if inevitable. Live life to its fulliest.

  • Well, I do not plan on making a mockery of Christianity by wandering off into conspiracy and speculation land. Have a better one.

  • Well said ^.^ God bless.

  • @CalemRahl

I wish more Christians knew what was REALLY going on, like you obviously do. Yes, God help us all, we are heading straight into the NWO.

  • @chukmaty

time is an illusion, God is well beyond the illusory concept of time

  • @CalemRahl

yep the eugenicists that have been running the show for the past century just looooooove their theory of evolution.

  • Studying ancient Sumerian religions, I think has lead me to conclude that the creation story as told by Moses (thousands of years after the story was probably told in its original oral form), it was to set itself apart from the worship of the hunger based gods like those centered around the sun, moon, rain, rivers, etc. A reading of Job also does this very convincingly. I am afraid that some of the poetic flourishes have been taken literally when they were not meant to be.

  • Also, think about it. Would God sit Adam (who I personally believe was a real and literal person) down as when he has the knowledge of a child and explain to him the abstract concept of a black hole? I don;t, I think he would use extremely basic images and concepts to teach him something about his nature and the manner and love which carried out the creation of the universe. Give Adam the information he needed. Prophecy follows a similar model, it acts as a promise reassurance, and edification.

  • The Bible immediatly sets as a moral precedent the need fo rhumanity to find its own way in the world by following a moral compass in the conscience and later much more rigorously championed by the Mosaic law. Discovery, building, working, and growing was for us to accomplish with the tools we had been given; so long as we acknowledged God. If God were to tell us every exacting detail about how creation worked, he might as well build our cities for us and plow our fields. We are made to seek.

  • how about this: maybe God did take billions of what we consider years, to create the world. those might just be his days. there is a section before he creates day and night in Genesis, which is what we define as our days. maybe thats when those billions of years came from. I dont think i came from a monkey, and i do believe in adam and eve but completely discrediting all of science does work either. just try to meet in the middle and see each others arguments a little.

  • @ashheartsjesus

Hey, I'm agreeing with ya on that one. The Bible does not define how long a day or a year is. What if their different in God's minds? I remember him saying a day in Heaven was like 10,000 years on earth, so maybe he was referring to heaven days.

  • This is such a beautiful song!

  • You guys know this is a pro-christian song right?

  • So?

  • @Drooopy3, No I didn't, tried listening, but can barely make out what he's saying. I'll check out the lyrics for myself.

  • @Drooopy3 One of Taylor's songs is amazingly titled "Jesus Is For Losers". What a BLATANT and WICKED contradiction to the words of the Lord Jesus Christ! In John 10:10 the lovely Lord Jesus says, ". . . I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. It's certainly not the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible whom the Apostle Paul writes of in 1 Cor. 15:57, "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • @airborne4325 ...sigh...New American Standard Bible (©1995)

And hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

  • One of Taylor's bests. A "do the deeds you did at first" song."

  • i have a hard time understanding why people who say they don't believe in God end up on on pages w/christian videos and then start telling people there is no God. is it an anti witnessing thing? if you don't believe in God why not go to a different page of videos?

  • It might be because the inner man believes and the flesh is blinded by pride.

Gazing on the stars and walking in the dust.

    Schizophrenia.

  • faith is having the tenacity to believe in something you know can not be proven

  • god sucks all he does is give u rules to follow while giving nothing back if there was a god y would he let things like the holocaust happen

  • Funny, if we would have followed God's rules, the holocaust wouldn't have happened. It isn't God who doesn't care, it's us.

  • damn right cuz humans are lazy slothful creatures that will kill just to keep themselves safe people don't give a damn about others tats just what other people want u to think

  • The rules God gave us are for our good, but humans tend to add twice as many to keep from breaking the few we were given. Keeping the man-made rules do no good, but the God-given ones have benefits. God also chose to give us free will, so we choose what we do. He could stop all the bad things, and would then be a manipulator. God can also use terrible events to bring about good. As horrific as The Holocaust was, it's that event that helped the Jews to begin to regain their homeland, Israel.

  • We let that happen. God gave us all the tools to prevent it, and we didn't use them all.

  • Am I the only person who thinks ST filmed his music videos while on vacation and on the same day?

  • If you've ever seen the intro to his long form video "Movies from the Soundtrack," he travelled all across the world to shoot music videos for songs off his album Squint. He shot music videos in Japan, Vietnam, the place where Stonehenge is, and Ireland. Of the six music videos done, the only video without Steve himself from Squint is the claymation video for Cash Cow.

  • To: 19nisey69

No meaningful conversation can take place between people of "good will" if either or both begin by insulting the intelligence or intentions of the other.

"There is no god." Interesting. You seem absolutely convinced of something that cannot be proven.

Let's look at something else you refer to as though saying it makes it so: "Seems a lot of christians are either depressed or flat out, mentally ill." Is this from a study, or your own observations?

  • All comments by atheists regarding Christianity seem to look a lot alike.

"You sad, ignorant morons. Stop believing in this fairy tale and get a life."

"It's all nonsense, Santa Clause for adults."

"An educated person such as myself doesn't need a God for my life to have meaning. Unlike you pathetic losers."

"God does not exist. The Bible is man-made BS. Accept it and move on :) "

You can have your opinions, but posting troll comments is getting old. And predictable.

  • This guy is a loser, the bad kind.

  • I love how controversial his songs are. He was not popular with a lot of Christians because of his music.

  • I love this song. It brings me to the foot of the cross every time I listen to it.

  • And if you're certain

Certain your life is some cosmic mistake

    Why do you shake?

    And if you're certain

Certain that faith is some know-nothing mask

    Why do you still ask?

    my fave lines :-)

  • Bone-weary every climb

    Blindsided every time

    Just as I am

    I am needy and dry

    Jesus is for losers

    The self-made need not apply

    Just as I am

    In a desert crawl

    Lord, I'm so thirsty

    Take me to the waterfall

  • I hesitated to add this to my Favorite list, since I've been teaching my son that "loser" is a bad word. But the message of this song is so true...

They don't grade here on the curve,

We both know what we deserve.

Just as you are, just a wretch like me,

Jesus is for losers, grace from the blood of a tree,

Just as we are, at a total loss,

Jesus is for losers, broken at the foot of the cross...

Lord, I'm so thirsty, take me to the waterfall...

  • I was a loser before I met Jesus.

  • loser

  • I guess you don't get it?

  • Amen Brother!

  • You probably still are a loser. People don't change. What happened is, you found a group of organized losers like yourself to feel part of a group with. That's all.

Jesus was no son of god, and there is no god, so, just enjoy your new found friends instead of the BS that brought you to them, that's all a fraud.

  • one of the more amazing songs. The man is Shakespeare for our generation, unfortunately people seem to have as hard a time understanding S.T. as they do Shakespeare. People hear what they want to hear and understand what they want to understand. Myself included. I'm just glad that I chose to hear and understand this particular song.

  • rubberbaby00,

Then it appears Jesus is for you as well.

  • While you are at it, I would suggest you get the album Squint to really put the song in context of the entire album. I think it would make far more sense to you then.

  • Taurusrivers84,

You are exactly the kind of christian that Steve Taylor writes about in "I Want to be a Clone". Why do you have to make a CD that makes it obvious that you are for Jesus? Do you think Jesus is as insecure about that as you seem to be?

  • Taurusrivers84,

Further, I would like to state that Steve Taylor has never written music to help God win souls. He writes music designed to make christians think. He wants you to roll his lyrics around in your cranium for some cogitation.

The best thing you can do for your christianity is to get out of the church and start examining the world for what it really is. Listen to Steve's song, "Hero".

  • i love this song:)

  • Well, That's your opinion and i think that people that don't love and believe in Jesus are not losers but i do feel very sorrowful for them. I am sorry that your soul will feel empty, lonely terror for eternity.

  • I'm assuming you're responding to the song's title. If so, you completely missed th point of the song, just as radio players everywhere did when it was released. He's replying to those who say that Jesus is for losers, by saying, "Yes, He is, and I'm one of them." If we weren't losers, Jesus wouldn't have had to die for us.

  • It so interesting to see a video for someone that I saw live in St. Louis, MO in the early 80's. Whit som eold friends. Wow! It's so cool the way that he gets you to think about things.

  • 15 years since I heard it the first time and it still has it's impact intact. Not only the theme for Steve Taylor's whole musical career (which I hope he might take up again some time). It might also be the best lyrics by a christian artist in our time. It might!

  • I had the honor of meeting Steve Taylor at LMHS in Lancaster, where he recorded most of Liver and spending a lot of time with him after the concert. What a beautiful song. What a genius. Only the songs of Rich Mullins can top this one. Just as you are, just a wretch like me,

Jesus is for losers, grace from the blood of a tree....

  • No way! I didn't know Liver was recorded at LMH! Or if I did know, I forgot! LOL Cool, I live near there.

  • Lyrically the best song Steve ever wrote.

  • I have to disagree with you. He has written some stellar songs, and almost all drive you to think and come closer to the Lord. I think many of the lyrics he wrote for the Newsboys approach his genius on this song, aloneg with Curses from this album. He's just fantastic, and Rich Mullins was great, but, imo, no better than Steve.

  • I live in Ukraine where there are always problems with music at all, not just christian music. But in this song Steve sees things which non-christians can't get or accept. They don't understend meaning of the word LOSER. Jesus also looked like a loser on cross, but it didn't mean to be so in fact. And it's 100% better to be a loser here. People make me lough when they think we are losers. Poor things.

  • That was beautiful. I love this song.

  • I wondered what hapenned to Steve! His band Chegall Guevara was one of the greatest Christian bands I have ever seen or heard. Their first album should have been huge. It is genius and he is genius. He is very misunderstood. He tackles tough subjects. He IS Christian! Listen to the lyrics.

  • Could you put the lyrics in the description. Even back then I didn't catch all the words.

  • Great thought-provoking song. I know he produced a movie with Michael W Smith relatively recently

  • that's Second Chance. I should watch it again.

  • The Second Chance it was awesome!

  • dobre to nawet xD

  • Well, nothing stopped me. Im still a fan, but I haven't been a Christian for a very long time, so I kind of moved away from Steve's music. The last album of his I purchased was "I Predict 1990" and in all fairness he hasnt really done much since, and I certainly dont fault him for that. He's moved on to other aspects of the music business and probably doesn't even perform any more. But his music brings back great memories. Just like Don Francisco.

  • Oh man! This is breaking my heart! I'm scanning youtube for Steve Taylor stuff and I keep seeing people who were HUGE fans of his and are no longer Christians! What?? How does THAT work? Didn't Steve teach you anything?? It makes me sad. :(

  • Enjoyed your music for a while. I suspect were in for another round of thought-provoking envelope-pushing Christian artists.

  • Oh man, I was the biggest ST fan in the universe when I was 15 or so.

  • i didn't know there was a vid for this, i have the cd somewhere

  • People really need to listen to the entire song and know the artist before trying to comment.

  • Thank you Steve

  • does anybody know what steve has been doing other than producing? i really miss his music. i have heard nothing on the radio for the last, what? 12 years?

love to all my brothers and sisters: children of the Most High!

  • love to my brothers and sisters of the Most High gets a -1? what ARE you thinking?

    i'll be praying for you.

    obviously you are lost.

  • Oh for heaven's sake, not everyone who dislikes something you say is a complete lost idiot. I didn't do it myself, but maybe they took issue with the fact that you don't know what Steve Taylor has been doing. Not that I know either.

(Or maybe they just dislike Christian sentiments in general. But it seems like you're overreacting...)

  • Is it up to you to say if someone is lost? I guess the judge of that is Someone else

  • Right you are.

I think the day that I posted that i was having some serious problems.

Like the chemo getting to me.

    Sorry.

  • My parents got me into Steve Taylor at a very young age. Last I heard of Steve was he wrote and directed The Second Chance (best Christian movie I have seen for a while!) I do love his music but for more, maybe it just isn't what God is calling him to anymore. He does have a LOT of material out there already.

  • He plans on doing music again at some point...the question is just when?

  • You can see his lyrical influence in Newsboys songs and the Veggie Tales movies. "In the Belly of a Whale" was his...

"I'm feeding fishes here, in the belly of a whale. I'm highly nutritious here, in the belly of a whale. I don't mean to belly ache, in the belly of a whale. But how long is this gonna take?" PURE Steve Taylor. As soon as the song came on in the theater we KNEW it was him and it was confirmed when that part of the credits rolled by.
