  • Miami needs a QB badly, and Peyton already has a home there.Don't be surprised if that is where he goes.Miami has the money, and a core of young players that could use Peyton's knowledge of the game. The Colts have to take Luck, that is Peyton's underling.Luck has been going to Peyton's summer camps since forever, lol.

  • skip thats bullshit LUCK IS BETTER THAN GRIFFIN III

  • lol...damn stephen a.....

  • i say the bears might pick up payton if they cut him

  • I say Peyton should join the Giants so his parents just have to go to one game instead of two.

  • MY BAD, drafts sucked*!!!

  • Skip Bayless = a** clown!!!!

Bayless = what is wrong with MIddle America!!!

BTW, I like Irsay!!!! Bill Polian had TOO MUCH control in Indy!!! He did everything he could to make his son a star GM and his drafts suck!!! To suck up to Polian like how they did was disgusting!!!

That's what happens when you work at garbage places like ESPN, YOU KISS THE BUTTS OF THE WRONG PEOPLE!!!!! BTW, the white guy Polian hides from the media and it's okay!!!

Black man Barry Bonds ... IT'S CRIMINAL!!!

  • This was an interesting discussion all around, but I believe Skip made the most sense.

If the Colts let him loose, would love to see Peyton finish in NY!! Go Giants...

  • just get rid of peyton he's garbage im tired of hearing people talk about how good he is he's a big puss if theres a guy bout to tackle him he's straight to the ground or throwing the ball away.

  • lol i love stephan a reaction when farve is mentioned. just gets instantly pissed lol

  • @PuffMajor his reaction's towards Farve are always great

  • Hey, @PippenPower don't say shit you called it the NFC championship, you shithead its the AFC championship. :|

  • I dont understand why people are hating on Sanchez so much, hes taken the jets to back to back NFC championships games before that they where garbage..You seriously cant blame sanchez for whats going on, blame his team, blame everyone, but to put all the blame on him is just dumb.

  • please go to the JETS

  • @nypackersfan hell no hes going to the cardnels if he gets released

  • Looks bleak, anyway

  • Bob Kravitz wrote a column in the Star saying it wouldn't matter much as long as we got Luck or a similar great prospect. Apparently the Colts have never been a team to mourn any great loss in the past 8 years.

I have agreed with Kravitz for the past two years but I'm shaky with him on this one....but what do I know.....

  • He's either going to Miami or Arizona. He won't go to Washington because he'd have to play Eli twice a year, and he won't go to the Jets because its the in the same city and could potentially meet in a Super Bowl.

  • @raulrolon7 He won't go to Washington because of Eli??? I seriously doubt that.. That would be one of the reasons to go to Washington. You get a chance to beat up on your little brother and compete for the NFC East Championship!! I can see him doing that!!

  • Jets have the fire power for Peyton...If he goes there he would be the glue to harness that team to SuperBowl.....

  • Skip reminds me of Skeletor or...the Crypt Keeper....

  • Perfect fit for the Chiefs... Look at the roster.... If you cant tell why, you're blind or you just don't know football.

  • I agree with Skip on Favre having two more good years, cause he had a pretty decent year with Mangini and the Jets in '08.

  • hes gunna be with the CARDINALS !!!! makes the most sense, easiest division to win , good head coach and defense and great receiver fitzgarald.. and arizona needs another receiver to go on the other side of larry so they could bring in reggie wayne with manning. so if that happens arizona will win that division forsure and win a superbowl. every other team that wants him either has a hard division or plays in bad weather so arizona makes the most sense and they play inside with HOT weather!!!

  • Mark my words... Andrew Luck is gonna be a bust...

  • I have watched Luck and his play, he has talent. However he does not control an offense like Peyton, simple as that! Peyton is smarter and takes charge! He makes more audibles and dummy calls than any quarterback to ever play the game! That is something he has done and perfected his whole life! Luck is not that, and never will be! I saw him in the two games he lost, mentally he broke! Pressure gets to him! In the NFL he will face alot of it! He needs to learn behind a veteran!

  • Also, compare RG3 and Luck! Watch the two of them when they are behind in games and how they respond! If I am a owner I don't go after Luck with the first pick, because he has better fundamentals etc! I go after RG3 because he has the competitive edge in his eyes!He has that winner instinct! It's what you see in all great players! Brady wasn't drafted high but that fire and winners edge you could see it! With Tebow, and his horrible throwing motion, you could see it in his eyes! They're winners!

  • @1983EJEW exactly id pick RG3 over Luck any day thats not saying that Luck is no good...Peyton still has at least 2 more years of football.. If Peyton shows luck what it takes to be a great NFL QB then Luck will be the next franchise QB for the colts but DON'T CUT MANNING...

  • Put both Manning and Luck on the field at the same time and let Jeff Saturday decide who gets the snaps.

PM: "18 balls to Luck today?! Are you f'n serious, Jeff?"

JS: "You've just got to want it more, Peyton."

  • peyton to SF 49ers

  • I hope Peyton retires so he doesn't end up paralyzed or dead on the field.

  • @IntimidatorZC He's cleared to play now. The neck is completely healed. Those BS injury things that people had no idea about but still kept ranting anyways can now end. Peyton's playing in the 2012 year

  • If Irsay cuts Peyton it is a very bad business move! The sales and profit they make off his name is a reason alone as a owner to negotiate a contract that is safe for the organization! Irsay is probably a little mad over paying him 26 million last year not to play! That's alot of money! However, if Manning is healthy that's 3 years of greatness as an organization and your money back!

  • Lets see keep one of the greatest QBs ever thats been with the team for 14 seasons or go for a rookie that you don't even know if he'll survive in the NFL the choice is pretty obvious, I agree with Skip.

  • Would you pay a 36 year old QB, that had three neck sugeries, 38 million for the 2012 season?

  • @ramrod20042000 28 million*

  • @sldecker38 My mistake....28 million roster bonus plus a 7 million 2012 salary= 35 million.

  • @ramrod20042000 I'd still pay 35mil for Manning. Because starting from scratch and banking on Luck isn't a great idea. I'd still draft Luck, keep Manning and then have Manning teach Luck.

  • @sldecker38 Manning will not teach Luck all his secrets...."how to read defenses", "how to change plays at the line"..etc..Look what happened to Curtis Painter when he got his shot? He was totally confused. Manning will not teach another QB, so he can take his job.

  • @ramrod20042000 I bet he would, considering how old Manning is, and the risks he has, why not teach someone else? It's not looking at it as "taking his job" it's looking at it as, passing on skills. Manning loves the Colts franchise, not teaching Luck would be absurd. Manning doesn't have many years left on him if he does play next year.

  • Some people just don't get it. Sports is a business. Totally understand what Manning means to the city of Indy (I'm originally from Indiana myself). But, just like what happen to Montana it will happen to Manning. All that money can rebuild an offensive line & even the defense. It's not worth somebody's health just because we like him. I'm glad that we won 1 S.B. with Manning. I thought we would win more than one. Just like Farve I guess.

  • the only thing wrong with Peyton Manning is that he plays for the NFL team from Indianapolis, the team that NEVER should have been allowed to leave Baltimore.

  • i think peyton will be wearing white and blue next year... for the TITANS

  • Peyton Manning is arguably one of the best players to ever step foot on a football field. He has done so much for the city of Indianapolis and it just seems wrong to even Consider trading him. If the Colts want to draft Andrew Luck, fine. But let Luck have the honor of observing and learning from the best quarterback ever to wear the white and blue. Keep Peyton.

  • @XxHooyahNAVYxX Not to ever wear white and blue, but to ever wear an NFL jersey. But I couldn't agree with you more.

  • @sldecker38 Oh definitely. I was just trying to make a case. many people argue that there are currently better quarterbacks out there. Personally i disagree I think Peyton IS football.

  • @XxHooyahNAVYxX The ONLY QB that comes even close to Peyton at this point in time is Brees. Other then that, I think no one has such a premium skill. Sure, there are elite quarterbacks, but there's always a step above. And Peyton is that step above.

  • @sldecker38 hmmm well i honestly dont think Drew Brees deserves half the credit he gets. i mean sure he is a great quarterback but 60% of his passes are little screens or dump offs. i think his receivers do his work for him.

  • @sldecker38 Brees? haha you've got to be kidding me. Brady is twice the QB Brees will ever be. But i agree that Manning is top.

  • @WhatssSoFunny Brady is a bitch. Nuff' said there. He's good but he's not as good as Brees.

  • @WhatssSoFunny brady is "twice the QB Brees will ever be" because of belichicks system, w/o brady they still went 11-5 and even gave matt cassell value..brady is good but hes just a system QB..brees can survive anywhere..

  • @HP24Laker Thank you.

  • @HP24Laker Sigh. No you can't put brees anywhere. Brees was not the Saints as you would like to think. He had an amazing tight end, amazing runningback, and amazing receivers. Did it ever occur to you that Matt Cassell is good? And besides, just because you play on a fantaastic team doesn't mean that your aren't cut above the rest. I would take Tom Brady of Brees any day of the week.

  • @WhatssSoFunny ok..whatever you say..

  • Keep Manning and draft Luck or RG3. Let the draftee develop while you milk everything you can out of what's left of Peyton. Obvious choice in my opinion.

  • @YoungSimba501 RG3? no.

  • Even if they do resign him, don't you guys see a big risk? Manning is playing with screws on his neck. It's not like he hurt his arm, leg, ankle, shoulder, etc. He hurt his neck. One big nasty hit can totally hurt him, probably even paralyze him. Either way, I wish Manning and the Colts the best.

  • You don't get rid of Peyton Manning period. Stupid and Irsay WILL regret it

  • i think they should resign him for a 2 year 30 million deal

  • I think the Indianapolis Colts should keep Peyton Manning,he's done so much for that city and organization. He deserves those 28 million dollars they'll owe him in March, and I think he'll be a good mentor for Andrew Luck(if the Colts acquire him).

  • If the Colts get rid of Manning and draft luck, luck won't have a mentor for him to become a star so i say keep manning for at least 2 more years

  • @antoniohoward90 yes, because every QB NEEDS the tutelage of a HOF QB in order to become a successful NFL QB...

I guess that's why Cam Newton and Andy Dalton suck...

    Oh wait...

  • Skip Bayless is speaking the truth.

  • I miss Peyton Manning i live in Indy and i want him back so bad

  • I am Patriots fan and I have to tell you. Ersay is insane if he let's this world class QB go. Peyton Manning has maybe 3 or 4 more peak years left.

  • As good as Peyton is and only winning 1 S.B. I think the Colts are better off getting rid of Manning. First of all he is not even sure if he can play. Second, even if Manning can play, in the back of his mind he's going to be afraid if he can take a hit or not. Save the money to rebuild the offense & the defense. Who cares if Manning plays somewhere else and comes back to play against the Colts. Montana did it against his old team. But, the 49er's won a S.B. with Young.

  • This just goes to show you what they were going to do, regardless if he were hurt or not. They were ready to go another way. I so hope Luck sucks in the NFL. Pay backs a bitch, all I can say.

  • With the coaching changes, Peyton needs to go. The Colts shot themselves in the foot by giving him so much money so late in his career. In a perfect world, you would want Peyton to groom Luck but $28M for a QB coach is insane when their team has so many holes on the defensive end.

Pagano will use that $28M to re-shape his defense because this team has very good offensive players already for Luck to walk into.

  • Peyton needs to continue playing. All of The Colts should be cut except Peyton Manning. We only lose when Peyton doesn't play.

  • im confident hes retiring, too much stress

  • @HKISfreak1 No Peyton Manning has something to prove.

  • Comment removed

  • I say take Andrew Luck, time for a change.

  • 3:02 Stephen is REALLY tired of talking about Favre

  • I have this feeling Peyton is retiring. You really think he would risk his neck even if a doctor tells him it's okay for him to play? Only Peyton knows if he can and would want to keep playing. Peyton will retire before anyone tells him that he's cut.

  • @EdgarD8387 I agree. I don't think Peyton would stick his neck out (no pun intended) to play for another team. As much as I love watching dude dissect defenses, I think he should do the prudent thing and retire. He'll be a hands down 1st ballot Hall Of Famer.

  • their making changes he will be the last to go

  • i hope he goes to another team. he's the greatest player to ever have played in his position and he built that fucking franchise. fuck the colts. long live peyton manning.

  • Peyton to the Raiders?,Cowboys?,49ers? im only putting real contenders for next season

  • @ChristMelee Ravens... that would be awsome

  • i think they will cut and he will go to the jets. im a gi8ants fan i think the jets need a quarterback like eli

  • @EIplayer99 Why would he wanna put himself amongst the chaos that is the Jets organization ??

  • i dont know if they should cut him but maybe trade him WHAT EVER happens i believe his time is done in indy just because of the franchise he plays for. remember this is the colts,HE SHOULD BE HAPPY TO LEAVE because they gonna suck to all hell without him just like they did before he arrived.Just like dallas and san fran when their great players left. THE RUN IS DONE.Lot of great players have had to retire somewhere else.Go play in the division and beat the colts til u retire.MAKE IRSAY PAY!

  • 7:05 what he says should be the line of thinking here.

  • @EcEryda69 Well they're taking a chance either way. It's the nature of business. Manning could re injure himself the first play of the first pre season game and Andrew Luck could be the next Ryan Leaf.

  • i really hope they dont let him go hes the greatest colt ever how can u let him go

  • Fucking A. Peyton goes out with injury and the Colts all of a sudden turn to shit.Tthat tells me Payton was more important to that team than many probably realize. Picking up Luck and booting Manning might not be a good idea for the Colts because its obvious that without an Elite QB like Manning, they either aren't a very good team or merely average.

Its crazy that Manning was so important to that team that had he played this year the Colts were probably a 9 win team at least. Good Luck.

  • Damn, $28 mill this March? I hate to see it happen but I think it's over.

  • @TheDrew4288 ya. it's just too much money because you know Luck is gonna get paid

  • Lmao Stephen A hates Brett Favre

  • @mahmoudabdallah100 I don't blame him. Favre was one of the most overrated QBs in the history of the damn league .He has a bunch of records for the simple fact that he played so long...and lets not forget,he also has the INT record, which says a lot. He had some great years in the late 90's , but other than that was definitely nothing special. He was a good QB, even great at times..but all-time great he was not.

  • @GoongalaGoongala I totally agree with what you said

  • @GoongalaGoongala i agree. it seems like there's so much "legend" associated with Farve. but when u look at him he threw a lot of stupid throws. Cost his team the game in 07 to giants and 09 to saints. he had some great come backs and drives no doubt a hall of famer but damn he made a lot of INTS

  • Lmao, he has a long ass neck.
