What you don't understand is that sometimes, on the set of a show, spontaneous giggle fits just happen. It's not that something said was especially funny, just that for whatever reason, one person on set starts cracking up and can't stop. Watch the old Bloopers show and you'll see what I mean. As for Richard cracking up like that--he had to deal with dumbass contestants at pretty much every taping. Something was bound to give sooner or later.
