Are you on drugs? and me saying dsi sucks is my opinion. they took off the gba slot to make you rebuy the games off the shop channel. :| they also removed guitarhero support, (those 2 features i use the most) yah it just depends on your opinion.

and the R4 doesn't work on the DSi.

Well, there were flashcards for the DSi at the time of posting, I was just stating that the original R4 (and many of it's clones) don't work on the DSi.

And the current DSi flashcards don't play DSi games yet.

Well, if you have the newest revision of the DS Phat (the one that shows pale yellow screens on Pictochat), then you can use Flashme to flash it.

The reason why Flashme enables this, is because the pale yellow firmware is actually a modified version of the DS lite firmware.

Well, the way you could check is:

1. Put a game into your DS.

2. Turn on your DS.

3. Go to PictoChat.

4. Without turning off your DS, take out your game.

5. Observe the color of your screen.

If the color is a pale yellow, you have the correct firmware, and you can flash your DS to get this effect.

Not really. If you get more than one DS, and you're looking for a multiplayer match, let someone (that you know) borrow the other DS.

Also, only someone stupid would buy every version of the DS. There are about 6 revisions of the Phat DS, then there's the Lite, and the DSi, and the DSi XL.

....you dont have to lose the startup screen just use a different version called flashme stealth....that keeps the start up screen.

yeah tweeter man is correct my normal ds has firmware 5 which is a firmware of a ds lite but my ds was brought from the hong kong games market where nearly every tech was found which i came across like M3 an more. so i flashed mine with the help of a friend but when you flash a ds the start up screen goes so you wont see it again i know the process in flashing but way to long to be explained here.

MadMan, it's a technique called flashing. You need seperate accessories, like a PassMe device, and SuperCard media holding type device, and some other stuff too. Way too long of a process to explain in this box. I flashed my DS Lite to get rid of the health and safety precaution startup screen.
