i didnt really get the ending though

this movie is more like a psychological thriller than a regular horror movie where people get killed

you can hear sirens and people saying "Roger" in the background, JINXY15 is right on this one. Atleast I hope..great short though!

Then it can be proven that the even though Julian's finger prints are on the murder weapon as well as Terry's, the ballistic evidence (gun powder residue from the explosion/discharge of the gun) will be in June's room, on her and her clothing, the bellboy, and Terry's shirt/pants, but will not be anywhere on Julian's clothing since he was not at the scene of the crime.

good short film. something Julian could do is that he could attempt to convince the police to bring the forensic team to the scene of the crime at that moment and have both his and Terry's clothes stripped, labeled, and bagged as evidence.

As the camera moves towards the door, the police retrace the murderer to the room that the two are sitting in and are about to break down the door when the film cuts to black. Julian will at least be implicated as a one of the murderers in not the sole murderer. Great movie! I'll try to find the longer version and post it if I can!

When you see him walk over and pick something up to eat, its off the SAME room service tray that was delivered to the room across the hall, so you know for sure he's been in the room. He continues to lie to his friend as the police show up and bang down the door across the hall. He just ignores all the commotion and acts like nothing is happening, which makes his friend even more scared.

He acts like he chickened out of the whole situation and that he's embarassed about having called his friend down to meet him, which is why he tells him he went over there and found her with friends. He knows Julian will know he's lying and that he must have backed down. Julian starts to relax. As soon as he does, Terry puts the murder weapon in his hand (to set him up as the murderer) and suddenly starts acting a lot different knowing the police are about to show up.

He was so mad that his best friend would hurt him like that, that when the room service guy comes back to the room having seen the "Help" written on the check, Terry waited until the girl opened the door and then killed them both. Now, when Julian shows up, Terry lies to him the way Julian's been lying all night.

I think what's happening is, Terry, the guy with the gun, has been on to Julian (Vince from Entourage) the whole time and knew he was not being honest with him. He saw Julian's car parked outside when he got to the hotel and he could hear his phone ringing from the other room everytime he called him (which he shows him by calling June's phone in front of him).

I've seen the director's cut at a film festival which is one whole movie put together, as opposed to 2 seperate parts, and runs about 10 mins longer. I think the version here is still awesome, but the version I saw in a theater was way better overall and much easier to understand at the end as its clear a lot was cut out of the ending in this version.

i'm guessing it was the room service guy and the girl pounding on the door. and i'm guessing terry shot julian at the last second.

i could really be wrong though, that was really an abrupt and vague ending...

I don't understand the ending, it was good up until the last minute, what happens? Whose banging, whose phone is ringing? Are her friends really there now? Is the room service guy hurting her? Could you explain it please? Thanks.
