@faz2281 i doubt it... i don't think anyone has the permission to use material from the silmarillion. christopher tolkien never sold the rights to it, and i doubt he ever will. he is extremely protective of his father's work and he seems to dislike the movies.

@TheDavynator0 You are confused. Christopher Tolkien definitely didn't appear in any of the movies. I was so surprised when you said so that I had to spend some time trying to confirm it. All I could find is that one of J.R.R's great grandsons, Royd Tolkien, had a brief cameo in Return of the King. Christopher Tolkien has always had a reluctant stance toward any movie adaptions of his father's work. I wouldn't be surprised if he never even watched the movies.

@medicsoldier22 the dwarves aren't tall.. they're just standing inside a tiny hobbit hole and riding tiny ponies, so they look big in comparison. looks like thorin is going to be taller than the other dwarves though.
