This was one of the greatest games ever, and one of the first to have dynamic background music. Imagine Syndicate 3 "Global Conquest", using squad based tactical shooter controls. Awesome to the max.

I remember playing this mission so many times and I kept dying. Not to mention that the word "Fuck" and "Shit" was used abundantly. however, I just got my guys to run with energy shield and then have an enemy agent shoot my guys off of the railing, then heal, put the shield back on, and then go around the other way.

Use any sound recording software (Audacity is free) and set 'stereo mix' as the recording source, either within the recording software or within the windows sound mixer settings.

Immediately after the start of the mission we were swarmed by agents with miniguns :P

DOSBox, dude. I had the same problem. It runs like the Windows DOS Emulator, just you have to direct it to folder directory where the executable is. For me it was Main.exe

I had it on my C drive, Program files, DOSBox-0.72, Syndicate, Main.exe

By default, it's Z. You have to "Mount" your C drive to access it. You do that on DOSBox by typing Mount C then your drive = C:/

Then you type in C:, and type CD then the directory 'till you are in the right folder. Then type in the file, Main.exe!

Get the latest version of DosBox.

Get a copy of the original CD.

Copy the game files to a HD directory.

Create a folder c:\syndicate\synd\save.

Load DosBox.

Type "Mount c c:\" You shouldn't really do this with DosBox (you're not supposed to mount a root directory) but it seems necessary for the game to keep saved games and your soundcard settings.

Run the game off your hard drive through DosBox.

On first running it should detect your sound hardware.

Works for me anyway.

@neglesaks Yeah, I played it. It was actually pretty good. Persuasion was infinite and you needed to collect influence power by acquiring weaker minds.

I think I still prefer the SNES version which is the only other one I've played.

For those that didn't know. You can download DOSBOX (Emulator which Emulates a "bad computer", with working soundcard etc, and you change Cpu-cycles to increase performance depending on game) and the Games (Syndicate) from the web, and play it nearly any OS (Linux, XP, Vista etc).. good old days

Yeah, the first part is the hardest part, you'll have to try to survive there. After that it's quite easy to beat. I had much luck in this video, it doesn't always work this way. Sometimes it's better to run away during the first air raid.

This was Peru mission it was one of the easiest heheehe along with venezuela and colombia, but I think you were lucky at the first dogfight and left the building just in time the agent self-destructed, fo me was better just to cover up with shields and wait until the agents attacked, then keep running righ until the aircon stroke
