I want to click on 'like' and 'add to favourite' for all of the 21 parts you have uploaded. I have been looking for this set of 3 videos for ages (a friend of mine had them on VHS years ago, lent them out to somebody & they were never returned). Thank you for uploading all of it. You are a champion, my friend! Brilliant in every respect.
so glad this in up here thank u thank u thank u - had these on vhs when i was younger (cough) and would love to get hold of them on dvd but have failed to find them =(
Having owned this wonderful collection on (3) VHS tapes (which, sadly, I sold off years ago), I would love to see this officially released on Blu-ray (or DVD, at the very least). Hands-down, the best Queen documentary out there!
Why hasn't this documentary been released on DVD yet? (I still have my VHS copy along with a few hundred Queen music videos, but I'd like to know why it isn't on a digital format yet) :)
God tthis brings back soooooo many memories!!! I used to watch this on our friend's vhs CONSTANTLY when I was .. I don't know... ten? Undertsnading virtually nothing my English still being quite bad... I wonder if this is going to be the first time when I watch this finally understanding everything!
Wow, sir! It's great that you're rediscovering this great band. I'm a pianist, 30 years old, and in love of Queen. I understand the struggle of HIV positive people, so I also have a connection with Freddie. I pray his soul is resting in peace and in the glory of God.
In 2:03, since Freddie is already wearing his peculiar moustache, that's gotta be 80's. Now, by his look, his hair, the fact that he's barefooted, maybe this could've been in Argentina...?
This one here is the 3rd I'm watching. Thanks I luv em, been watching now for almost 3hrs. Should I be taking notes? I mean when is the final and I suppose it'll be here on You Tube, right.
Yes, the cosmos rocks is a very good album, I like it very much, actually I don't know why people don't like it!!
We must go on without Freddie, it's a real shame but it is true. It is not Brian and Rogers' fault. We know that Freddie was the best singer ever but we also know that he will never be again with us... I think Freddie would want Brian and Roger to carry! Let them play good music!
Right, but Brian had no right to keep the name of Queen after Freddy's death. For example when Cris Cornel form Soundgarden and the instrumentalists from Rage Against The Machine got together it was a new band with a new name - Audioslave. A band that eventually got quite more successful than the Q+PR thing. I think this is the main problem here - you have to pay respect to the great man and close the page once and for all, not deceive your fans.
I think that's why they go under the name of Queen + Paul Rogers. Out of respect for Freddie; they know that no-one could ever replace him so they don't go under the name "Queen" anymore.
@neychev I think he has every right. He was a founding member and wrote some of the songs. Don't get me wrong, I love Freddie and Queen isn't the same without him, but I still think Brian and Roger have the right. They're carrying on. They always mention and give Freddie credit. I think Freddie would have wanted them to do this. Many bands lose important parts and still move on. Take AC/DC for example with Bon Scott. :)
@jessicamadq tbf i love queen but thats wrong freddie hated being announced as freddie and queen he considered himself to be part of queen therefore fans are wrong to get angry at that but i agree it should of ended and clearly do did john deacon
@jessicamadq Queen is an entity, a living breathing being that was the culmination of the four talents & persona's of Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon & Freddie Mercury. Queen was larger than any of them separate or together. The fire that Queen started cannot and will never be extinguished. Music like theirs does not expire which is why generations after Freddie's passing will always bow before Queen.
Yes, A great album in my opinion. Sure, it's hard to find another Freddie and even though Rodgers dosent sound like him, Paul is one of the best rock singers ever in, I think :)
you know the part when elton john was talking about freddie's hair? what did he say @ the end, right before "I luv freddie to death, okay?" i couldn't understand him...talked too fast...lol

I'm very grateful to you for uploading this documentary.
For while I know more or less all of Queen's music and have been a fan
for over 25 years, I've never seen this one.
By the raw look of it, I'd assume that it's not official?
Nevertheless, if a Queen documentary was made today, with the band's blessing, I can't believe that it would be as terrifically entertaining!
Talking heads interviews of (now) middle-aged rock stars can't compare with
the outrageous, former versions of themselves!
tepporocks 1 year ago
@tepporocks - DoRo is the official organization that made many of Queen's videos, so this is probably at least quasi-official.
Kezzabou 1 year ago
@Kezzabou Then I have to at least quasi-agree with you.

@tepporocks - Hope you saw the tongue in my cheek, it's been there since I posted. ;)

I really don't like Elton's comment about "she's had the old clone look for awhile now". As someone in the gay community that's really not cool.

How far would Queen go if they didn't have Freddie to push them into the 90's?
Freddie was the main one in the band. Credits goes to Brian,Roger, and John for what they did on their part.
I do miss John and Freddie very much, wish this didn't happen to Freddie, got to wonder if he did live, how far would he con't to sing with Queen.

have you heard Cosmos Rocks??? dedicated to Mr. Mercury ,,,by the way !!
romavictora 3 years ago
Cosmo Rocks is amazing, and it's brillant that Roger and Brian are still playing, but it actually annoyed alot of Queen fans.
Many people believe Queen was Freddie Mercury, and without Freddie it's no longer Queen, you see.

Agreed.
I love Q+PR...But it annoys me that they didn't think about a name change.
As well: John's not in the band either. It's half of the original band...Still with the original name.
