Yup, 10 g's of flash will absolutely shake things up a bit. 100 g's would have blown the camera over, and the flour would have flashed in a micro second. 100 g's is so damned dangerous to have in a single device, 100 g's is a death wish.

that mix is also pretty awesome q: illegal firecrackers in denmark use it.. im about 85% sure... DEFINATELY a potassium salt as oxidizer.. on my camera.. i lit one at nighttime.. at the freezeframes you can see that it has a kinda purple flame in the sides.. and its also really loud.. i guess about 10 - 15 grams .. wish i knew ppl that made those things.. then i would buy some chemicals from them.. ^^

Yes, I have calculated it myself. That figure is for a stoichiometric KClO4/Al reaction, approximately 2:1 by mass. KClO4/Al Flash powder produces lots of gas. On a mass basis, more than black powder. The reaction produces KCl and Al2O3, and although the reaction temperature isn't high enough to even completely melt the Al2O3, all of the KCl will be gaseous. You get about 3 moles of gas per 600 grams of 7/3 flash.

i can tell you this.. flash powder is an explosive, atleast in compressed spaces. and it should not be played with, its a bit unstable and might self ignite with low friction;)
