  • a touch and go high box squat....not putting you down, but that kind of defeats the purpose... An appropriate box squat is controlled down to the box, pause on the box, and then explode up to finish the rep.

  • Look up west side barbells website. There you will be able to see and read just how these were desined to be done.

  • You are right. Im wrong on that last post. But, box squates are used to engage the hamstrings by sitting back. Exstending your knee joint out past a 90 degree angle so that the hamstring is forced to pull you forward and up off the box. They over emphasize the role of the hamstring in a normal squat to cure hamstring weekness. So they should be done with less weight then your regular squat so you can do them properly. You should be trying to sit on your nuts each rep. With a very wide stance.

  • nice lift man!! keep it up! :)

  • what do you mean by marijuana muscle hemp protein powder?

  • i am 15 and i do 505 box squad that puseey shit

  • @xldawgx313 I think your full of shit! Do a video doing 505 squat and I will believe it. No 15 year old doing 505 in the box.

  • that was bad ass

  • Protien does not turn to fat. You realy should be educated on the topic before you make such a dumb statement. Protien is protien and can not be converted to anything ells. Fat can only be stored or converted to suger and suger can only be converted to fat. When you lift you burn primarily muscle glycogen (suger stored in the muscles). Un used protien simply gets flushed out of the digestive tract. Used protien is used for tissue repare and digestion. Plus this is a week box squat.

  • @MrRhutchins excess protein will be turned to fat. If that wasn't the case the body could not break down muscle to glucose for energy if you were starving. Process like this excess protein-simple sugars-stored fat

  • Why are you putting this on the internet? That was the worst squat ever. Needless to say that box squats are ten times easier than real ones so your weight on that bar should be way more, unless you just stepped into the gym today. Take the bench/metal bars out from underneath you and start squating like a real man.

  • do you workout stoned?

  • not a good squat you need to go lower but a great weight for you

  • that not really a proper box squat , more like a touch and go box squat . Still thats a great weigh for your size !

  • hey bro wat re the results u seen in MarijuanaMuscle

  • i want that shirt.

  • Nice!

  • Knees out!

  • wow - that is crazy strong!

  • badass

  • That certainly is impressive. But keep in mind the average american consumes 200% protein daily, so you don't really need anymore. Protein is a macronutrient like vitamin-c, your body uses what it needs and flushes out the rest, so if you want the utmost benefit from protein just eat as you normally would but have a light snack before/after a work out, however don't eat a bacon cheeseburger before bed because you need protein while you sleep like i used to lol. 160 benching 250 last i checked :)

  • When did vitamin c become a macronutrient?

  • mel - im not sure if it is or isn't a macronutrient, but i meant it in the sence that they have similar properties.

  • Vitamin C is a MICROnutrient. The human body does not derive energy from vitamin c nor does it require it in very large quantities (>1g/day). Brush up on your physiology before pontificating on nutrition.

  • actually protein turns to fat when not used, but otherwise your spot on!

  • @budmanonetwo123 Vitamin C is actually a micronutrient, and your body CAN recycle protein by converting amino acids into glucose via the intermediate Acetyl-CoA if it needs to.

  • that's awesome man. I wish Milton Friedman and Thomas Jefferson were alive today to tell our gov't leaders how badly they're fucking us over by not letting us do as we damn well please. You guys keep doing what you're doing. There will come a time when they can't ignore us any longer.

  • Marijuana Muscle? lmao nice

  • Oh my god dude, how much do you weigh?
