Like so much wrong with the "Church" today, this further illustrates the degree to which the African American Church has been distracted, enticed, and intoxicated by the "world"; and now, with titles, high positions and symbols of authority and status! Some of the vestments worn in the "Charismatic" pulpits would rival any worn by the Pope himself! Paul never intended "Bishops" to look like this! Time to get back to Gospel basics! If anything, Bishops should be wearing towels and washing feet!

There must be many baptist bishops in America?! I have hard to believe they use the word consecration, unless they believe that the bishops is not just one member among others in the priesthood of all believers...in the apostolic succession and that the priesthood is necessary for valid sacraments.
