How do black metal bands become commercial, I'm yet to see any black metal albums in a commercial shopping center apart from a selected few big names that are hard to find in a cd-dvd shop, if they change there style a tad its to lure heavy or metal fans in. Its not like pop fans are gunna come running over to them lol or get them on a banner out the front of kids shops METAL will only attract the minority of the world :)

Black metal bands commercial success isn't the same as, say, pop. It's still not a household name like Metallica, but kiddies that are into the more popular bands (Failforce, for instance) will pick up magazines or search for other bands. In the case of bands like Dimmu, their image has been pretty comic bookish (compared to other BM bands, at least) for a long time and something like that is begging for record label pimpage.

Es una banda bastante buena, con unos hermosos toques de sintetizador, que le dan un toque extra al ya de por si buenisimo black metal. Por supuesto que no se compara con dimmu borgir, que es bastante comercial y disco con disco cae en lo choteado, lo obsceno y o ofensivo para todo metalero de corazón, pero considero que sus primeros materiales discográficos siguen siendo dignos de ser llamados TNBM, sin mencionar que Mustis (tecladista) es una eminencia en lo que hace. First off, Dimmu have nothing to do with commerce. Hot Topic is just selling their shit. Dimmu Borgir write their own work and are doing theme albums right now. Dimmu are symphonic black. Their newer work involves a symphony (see: PEM). And Dimmu are doing two THEME albums (07 and 2010), so wait til those are done before you assume this.
