I am low income, can't afford cable or even broadband. Fortunately, I live in a large urban region, with many free public wifi locations (coffeehouses and libraries), so I get my progressive news in video format, at those places. It is therefore a great disappointment to me, that Current TV has opted for a fee-based method to provide its news. So much for their "progressive" pedigree!

TYT has proven to me over time to have serious right wing under lying beliefs. Cenk bashes Obama, agree's with many right wing beliefs and others on TYT are 100% Tea Party. Don't believe me, ask them who they vote for? Shocking, another Fox News type channel popping up on TV again! Bill Mahr is the last tv show left with guaranteed left beliefs. TYT is NOT libeal at all!

That's funny, it's good - and bad - at the same time. Al Gore's got Cenk selling his TV channel. Cenk's releasing the TYT army - before election time - Was that the good?

'Cause the bad is that if Cenk doesn't endorse Ron Paul, Current definitely won't endorse Ron Paul, and the special "election time" push makes me want to retreat to the internet. Ron Paul is huge on the internet. (shouldn't he be?)

So everybody register Republican to vote in the primaries and vote Ron Paul.

Have you noticed that Current TV doesn't really offer any of its shows via the web? Just some sample clips to entice you to subscribe to cable service. Talk about devolution! They actually violate the spirit of Youtube, by not providing any free news videos; instead they use it as free advertising. I think those kind of channels should either be banned from YT, or pay a fee for the privilege.
