Everyone has the right to express their own opinions... but she's betrayed the trust of her subject and exploited her position as the photographer in doing those McCain shots. I don't see how anybody could call this child abuse. Its an exploration of human emotion. The children weren't made to cry through any form of harm - just trivial things like removing a toy or denying a treat - which is something that millions of parents will do everyday to their own children. The children's parents all consented to this and wanted to be part of it - the parents were the ones who made them cry for the camera, so saying it is child abuse is a ridiculous accusation.

If we all were acting in a completely "professional" fashion nothing new or compelling would ever be produced. I, personally, am delighted to hear what Greenberg did. She's a forward thinker, at least in the art world. And save the politics people, the magazine should have actually researched Greenberg's work before they hired her. Their mistake.
