@Clayis1 : It *is* an inside joke, I guess. J and J are great friends in real life (almost like brothers, I've heard it said. They were even house-mates for a while. ). Maybe the writers wanted to take a potshot at that. :)

@Clayis1 well in this episode, even though sam and dean portrayed jared and jensen, their real selves in a parallel universe, they weren't exactly the jared and jensen that we know in real life just like the misha in this episode was a kind of douchebag, where as the real misha we know isn't, the jared and jensen in this episode, weren't very close friends and didn't talk to each other much like the jared and jensen we know, who are quite close, do know you what i mean, does that make sense

@Clayis1 This is just a joke, Jensen and Jared are great friends in real life. In this episode, they are just playing around with the normal Hollywood famous actor attitude which is why everybody is being sort of acting egoistic douchebags. This is just the show making fun of the entertainment industry. Jared and Jensen talked about it at PaleyFest how they told the writers that they would do this but they weren't gonna play real Jared and Jensen. So they went with a parody of their work.

@RockstarKelsx The TV is showing footage from their dailies, not gag reel, that's what the boys said at one of the conventions. The dailies are just raw uncut footage.
