  • @HPDpvtcaboose CB radio dont use repeaters...Ham and HF do. Good luck to you

  • WELL I SWITCHED MY RADIO TO THE FM AND IT DON'T DO NOTHING BUT WHEN I SWITCH IT TO AM I CAN HEAR PEOPLE I FORGOT THAT A NORMAL CB DON'T RUN OFF OF FM IT RUNS OFF OF AM.

  • @fmfracing450 well they might just not be talking. I receive FM on my K40 but u gotta realize that FM unlike AM has NO static on it.

  • WHAT IS THE BEST ANTENNA FOR IT

  • @fmfracing450 well I use a K40 trunk mount with no problems at all. A Wilson 5000 is a great antenna but costly compared to the K40. If you plan on talkin more on FM and lower/higher channels you might want to invert i a whats called a "Magic Stick"

  • I JUST BOUGHT ME A RANGER RCI-2950 I LOVE MY RADIO ALOT I CAN TALK FOR MILES ON IT!!

  • @fmfracing450 those are nice radio's. Talk on one myself! They are a VERY good talker, I have mine on a K40 with a RoadKing 56 Microphone. One of my best! Good luck with it, they dont really have any problems i know of. Never had one with mine. Thanks!
