George Washington stated, “Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth & keystone under independence." He added, "The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference; ...When firearms go, all goes; we need them every hour.” It sounds like this guy would have considered George Washington as un-patriotic too.

It's so unfortunate that there are people like Mr Powell who think they are more intelligible in all aspects so much so that they think they can TALK OVER another individual during a debate and use so many lame devices to control the discussion. He loved bringing up the fact that he never said political or politics but the truth is you don't have to say the word "politics" to make it political at all. The use of the words "human being" never sounded more out of place than when he uttered them.
