  • analog/antenna FTW !!!!

  • that's monitor is great. I have it and i am very happy ;P

  • @GummySzatek

does it have a scart plug??

  • @fastasaninja yes. it has ;D

  • i have 1 question does it have the same quality when playing xbox360 with hdmi to hdmi as a hdtv? please reply thanks a lot!

  • is it ideal to use this as a tv?

  • jesus is true for everyone if you dont believe in him you dont get to be with him lol

  • Can the tuner record TV? can the tuner record PC ?????

    please answer

  • im looking at getting one of these, can i just hook it up to my basic cable?? it has a QAM tuner right?

  • @tuberoako777 hey hows this thing holding up? does it still work good for you? thanx

  • Just bought it for $215.00USD!

  • @BHT70 WHERE i want to buy it aswell./....

  • If you live in a country that Newegg supports, you can buy it at Newegg. Search it up. Shipping is from 1 day for $60 bucks, and 3-7 days for some items that have free shipping. It's pretty trustful, but if your want a rebate for some certain, you have to wait a while to get your money.

  • dude parehas tau ng location ng backlight bleeding :((

  • 0:34 That was awesome. It felt like a movie XD

  • Recommendable for ps3? I need a monitor...thanks for replying!

  • Well, the monitor is good yes, although my PS3 looks worse on this monitor than it does on my 26" Samsung TV. Maybe it's just me?

  • Dell S2409W, that's the one you want.

  • leno!!! booooo!!! COCO baby!

  • its more of a monitor quality viewing. Its not really good for viewing standard definition stuff.. way worse compared to SD TVs. But if you are gonna be playing games with the PS3 in 1080p/i, I dont think you'd be having any problem. This way more of a computer monitor than a TV.

  • is this monitor support 3d games ?

  • nope sorry..

  • @tuberoako777 yes for me works xd

  • very good tv, bought mine today.

    especially with ps3.. my god

  • hey i was wanting to buy the same tv / moniter do you think its worth the price?

  • for less than $300 its good enough but more as a PC monitor :D (good for TV but only for Hi-Def channels and reception).

  • plz someone reply: can a 1920 by 1080 monitor play a 1900 by 1200 resolution game and not have any problems doing it

    thx

  • hopefully, the game supports 1920x1080 (16:9 aspect ratio). It is not normal to force 1920x1200 res to a 1920x1080. What games? So far i have almost no problems with this monitor. COD4, MW2, Red Alert 3, Last Remnant, Dragon Age, Crysis, GTA4 and tons more in 1920x1080. Only had a problem with Price of Persia not displaying 1920x1080 properly.

  • is this monitor 1080p ? im maybe getting it for pc and playstation 3

  • yup 1080

  • actually more than 1080p since the pc resolution can go up to 1920x1200

so you have about an extra 120 lines vertically that i can add. ofcourse the ps3 and xbox only do i believe 720p (may be wrong about the ps3)

  • An XBox 360 and Ps3 can go 1920x1080 -_-

And there are monitors that can get 2560x1440, and video cards are able to do so, but not on a VGA cable.

  • @HeyItsMeDaniel i had read somewhere that xbox only does 720. may be misinformed i guess.

either way buying a screen only for consoles...that goes higher than their max resolution is money out of your pocket that you wont ever see a use for.

its like me buying a supercomputer...to do the casual student work...occasional quake 3 arena.

  • Yes, i agree ^^

Almost all Xbox 360 can go up to 1080p, but there are some that only go to 720p / 1080i due the graphic processor of the 360.

But on small TV's, like this one, you wont really see a difference between hd ready or full hd.

  • If I connect it to my laptop, is it going to be on HD then>? And I only have a 8400m gs, does it work then>?

  • you must buy a Tv box specially for laptop (Intex 4 example) and yes, if you get it it will work

  • the 2333hd is a monitor.... so it's made for a computer, so I think you don't need a TV box :P.....

  • Damn!! you're right!! i thought this was the 2333sw!!..... Yep ... i embarrassed myself

  • and yes.......... it will set itself (or autoadjust) to 1080p....if it doesn't you get in your videocard menu and select it to run ''at best monitor resolution''... voila!

  • Never mind, but okay if I don't 'reach' 1080p, cause now it says that the max. reso is 1440/900, but is that cause I have a 17 " right now>?

  • If so try setting the 1080P monitor as the only monitor active, and turn off the the internal laptop screen. Also try newer drivers for your videocard if you haven't

  • Does nvidea automatically update my driver>? And okay I'll try that ( but problably I'm going to buy it next friday )..... Oh and sorry for my bad use of english, I'm Dutch, so that's why..... :$

  • yes.... or you can google the latest drivers by typing the name of the card..... your English is quite fine.....Greetings from Dominican Republic

  • Where can I find that on the map>? I've to speak english very well, cause I'm doing camebridge right now :O.... But okay, I'll will google it right away..... :D

  • Not 1080P in TV, just as a monitor and PS3 is using it as a monitor. Does sound work as well with headphone out as RCA out? Hard to beat $250. The P2370HD has 3 yr warranty.

  • Excelent with PS3 in 1080P!

  • I have it this awsome

  • damn im trying to buy this for my desktop and my xbox 360

  • Bought this for my stepson and didn't realise it has one huge omission, no RCA input so he can't plug in his PS2. Tried looking for a cheap RCA adaptor on Ebay with no luck, apart from selling it, any suggestions?

  • buy a RCA to scart connection.

  • one huge omission what you mean?

  • idiot read.

  • You can use PS3 Component Cables, They have the same input jacks PS2 and PS3. You can buy used from Game Stop or Ebay

  • Anyone know how well this looks and works with a PS3? Thanks!

  • looks and works awsome!!.... but i prefer the Samsung 2333sw monitor (cheaper and also HD1080p) i use it with my pc and my ps3, i bought an HD pc to tv converter box for pc monitors with component cables jacks on it..and also audio jacks ... just $50....the monitor was $275... youtube it!!

  • Hmm, I'd be willing to get a HD monitor if I could watch TV on it easily! But I think I've gone off the idea! =(

  • If I connect it to my laptop, is it going to be on HD then>? And I only have a 8400m gs, does it work then>?

  • Its good that you liked the image quality. I rarely used the built in speakers since i have an uber cheap 2.1 audio set up that i put in the side's audio out/ headphone jack. I have used the built in speakers before and they were just OK but not really loud. Very acceptable when listening to news sometimes.

  • Does any one know if this uses standardized cable because the Ant input looks modified on this device? does anyone know if i gotta get a special wire to use it?

  • jesus my ass

  • I going to buy this LCD now.

  • gudluck! ;)

  • did you use a vga or dvi connection for your pc ?

  • i tried all: HMDI at ports 1 and 2, VGA and DVI.. i am currently using DVI since i came across with HDMI issues

  • My Father-In-Law has just brought this set as a TV for his kitchen. He has mounted it on a swing arm bracket, but would like to remove the factory stand and base. Can you remove them both? Thanks :)

  • i cant seem to remove the neck and the base when i trield to since i wanted to put in in its box and bring it somewhere else.. i can only remove the round base but not the neck (it would probably take an extremely good grip and good strength to pull it out.. but im scared that it might get broken.. sorry i cant help.. have u tried contacting samsung yet?)

  • Thanks for your help.I haven't contected Samsung yet. I will do so in the next few days. I have no idea what their online help service is like though.......

  • i also havent tried as well .. i even plan to bring this monitor overseas.. its box was really handy.. but if im not able to take out the "neck" then i will need a bigger box!..

    gudluck again:D

  • i wana seea vid on the Samsung 2333HD 23" ps3 gameplay dno if i shud buy it

  • Which one is better, the P2370HD or 2333HD?

  • Tv outlet? hmm not sure.. it has an ANT in.. i used the old "rabbit ears" antennae the UHF/VHF type.. got some channels.. non digital channels received were not the best.. 16:9 digital signals are the best looking.. (those 1080i and 720p broadcasts).. ( the typcal 640x480 [old signals/ 4:3 contents does not look very good since those pixels are stretched out even at the monitor's 4:3 option])

u could get this aroud $300

better used as a monitor rather than a tv (for me).. gudluck if ever :D

  • cool has tv outlet??? so you can watch local channels in this monitor?? how much did you bought it?

  • I also had backlight bleed but I couldn't live with it.

So if someone is watching this and wondering if you should get it, just make sure you don't mind backlight bleed. Otherwise it's a pretty good monitor + tv.

  • yeah ur right.. it really depends on the user's sensitivity or his or her thoughts about getting the "best" for his money..

i think its what made this a very good but for me is that i got it for 250 bucks only.. :D

i called the stores a lot of times and it sold out pretty quick!

  • backlight bleed?
