  • Are you still selling this scope man?

  • Very nice! Atleast you didn't photo shop it till it looks fake. Keep it up.

  • I want to order a XT10 so much, but there's no shipping outside the US and Canada :( I'm crying to get this.

  • nice! I ve got an orion XT12, they're great telescope.

  • hi. interesting vid, eventhough the planet's disc isn't clearly visible (i mean with details.. a filter?) /:) one question though: how did you manage to zoom in while filming? i also have an A590(is), i also do afocal, but never zoomed in the middle of the shot. either you are using a different model, or i don't know how to use my camera's functions :) thanks and clear skies!

  • im want to buy a telescope. im from the UK.i constantly being told to buy a dobsonian- what i want to know is- how easy is it to navigate around starts, and how easy is it to make up for the earths rotation, i mean how easy is it to keep up with stars. also what do you think of this telescope- the 10 inch one Skyliner-250PX 10" Parabolic Dobsonain

  • hey man, could you reply to this message and just say hi or something- i wana ask you a few questions about telescopes so i just wna know if you do reply. thanks

  • @R4ju20 hi

  • Cool video man. The music reminds me of Christmas music. Very pleasant.

  • Not bad my friend. Not bad at all. I give you an A for effort. I can only what you'd do with better equipment.

  • Hi.......I want to buy a telescope but I don't know which one I should go for it's either going to be an Orion atlas 10 or an Orion skyquest xt12....which one should I go for......I want one that will allow me to some deep-sky viewing(galaxies, nebulas etc) I know both of the are able to see the mentioned above but which one is the best one....what's your reccomendation.....which one would you choose

  • @animedrawer84 If you're just starting off, I would definately go with an Orion XT10. But depending on how sure you are to be in this hobby in the next 10 years and also if you dont mind moving around more weight, myself I started with an Orion XT10 and after a year I'm getting the urge to sell my scope and get an XX12i instead of an Xt12. Much more roomy. Cannot go wrong with any of these Orins though.

  • @animedrawer84 Well there's no substitute for aperture so I'd say get the biggest scope you can afford and move around comfortably. However keep in mind the the XT12 is a BIG telescope. Also if you live in a city with light pollution, you'll want to transport the scope to some place that has dark skies. The XT10 tube will just barely fit accross the backseat of a car and the base in the passenger seat. The XT12 is a little bigger and might not fit, depeneding on your vehicle.

  • @rodneyracoon i got the xt12 goto but i sold it to frined and now i am going to buy the xx14i

  • @animedrawer84 Did you ever end up getting the xx14? Do you have any photos from it? I am curious how much more you can see with an xx14 vs. the XT10. Can anyone else comment on the difference?

  • @animedrawer84 wanna see galaxiesnebulosas? just take a probe and go there if you get to arrivealive there of course.... it's not s easy to see clear a nebulosa or a galaxie

  • @Danielkain i know its not...i know what to expect but i was just asking for the one with more resolving power

  • Is that what it looked like through the eyepiece or was there some image degeradation through the camera? I have an XT10 and I can usually see the ring shadow accross the planet and a couple faint bands and 4 moons, unless seing conditions are bad or collimation is off. Good job tracking and keeping it in the FOV, pretty tricky with a dob.

  • @rodneyracoon Was definately degraded a bit during camera and especially when zooming in! Kind of tricky with a dob yes, felt easier without the tension springs connected though. Good for cam bad for pics.

  • The following settings are what i was using to snap astrophotos right before I started taping with the same digital camera.
