I like the fact that you have so much in buckets. I've read about unhealthy chemicals leaching out into canned foods.I guess they mean wet canned foods.I worry that the cans are unhealthy since a lot of survivalists have a year supply of foods in cans.
~*~During the Great Depression many people would have starved if it wasnt for fruit trees, there is no reason why we cant all work together and plant fruit trees, EVERY single Church in the world should have fruit trees on its property to help feed the less fortunate. Just imagine if EVERY person in this world plants fruit trees~*~
@ 3:37 it sounded as if you had said "I have 20 bags of weed..." I'm sorry, it just made me laugh. Great video and storage ideas. How long have you been doing this for? and, about how much would you say you put in monthly into your storage? Just wondering. Thank you.
I love the way these buckets stack. I put a shelf across the top and can slip one stack of buckets out from under the shelf without disturbing the things on the shelf at all. The shelf balances across the other buckets. Please visit 3DHealth. Net to see a whole system that is not shown in this video. It corresponds with my cookbook, NUTRITION FROM MY WHOLE FOODS KITCHEN. I teach a way to eat the foods from my food storage every day including rice, beans, wheat, oats, nuts, seeds, etc.
Just a note that the food stored in those square buckets contains no meat. If it says "Beef Stroganoff" it means that the "beef" is really Texturized Vegetable Protein. No problem because meat does not store as long, and TVP has plenty of protein. A word of advice...do not tell your neighbors you are storing food. Try to keep some extra food to give to any who show up at your door asking for food. Store water in 30 gallon barrels which are too heavy for people to steal. Replace water yearly.
On 3DHealth. Net we cover health in all three dimensions: body, mind and spirit. To order items for food and food storage you would click on "body", then click on containers. I have links where to buy bulk bags of wheat and other items in your local area. I also have food, containers and buckets that you can order from my site. Please come and visit soon!
I don't recommend buckets for dehydrated veggies, but I bought them in bulk to sell in smaller amounts to my students. White buckets are perfect for grains and beans, but not for powders, fruits or vegetables.
I have also discovered that freeze dried vegetables are so much better tasting than dehydrated. I only buy freeze dried now even though it costs more.
Fabulous! I enjoy seeing other quinoa buckets.

I like the containers but I HATE stacking boxes, containers of any kind. It is a pain to get to stuff. Shelves are much better!

What are you doing, dehydrating vegetables and putting them in the buckets (I saw "celery" written on one)?
