xrinat: Vibrato is typical in British brass band playing, especially with the euphonium. American brass players tend to not use vibrato until the end of the tone.
As a retired Army bandsman, may I say that we all appreciate you and all who share this beautiful music with the world. May God continue to bless you in this unique ministry.
We are just a small band, Sunderland Citadel. We share our town with Sunderland Monkwearmouth who are very widely known. We play massed concerts with City of Sunderland and Lumley Methodist so we will probably play this piece then. I had already noticed the link and have received the score and parts from Chris, but thanks for pointing that out. Next time I am down under (hopefully Christmas 2010) I am going to try and get to Brisbane. Visited 2 years ago but never made it to the Army.

Very inspirational. Great solists. This is what GREAT concert bands are all about! Many in this country have lost touch with the beauty of this music and many young have never even heard it.
There needs to be an infusion of this music in America. The human spirit needs healing. You can not buy a therapy to match the enrichment to the soul this music provides. Play this composotion for little children absent of any religious agenda. Marvel at the result.
with my grandson on my lap, and tears running down my face, I thank you for making me cry......again! You all play this song so good that it is a blessing to me every time I listen to it. God Bless You All
Beautiful...Any chance that we could have this arrangement brought to Canada? I think it would be nice to use with my corps band, London Citadel, and I know who I'd like to play it with!
Really enjoyed this arrangement. Would be really be interested in obtaining a copy of this arrangement for our band at Hamilton Corps, Scotland, UK. Excellant playing! God Bless
Can you please pass on my details as well as I love this arrangement and would love a copy as well. Cracking arrangement well done so much feeling. Thank you.
If it was taken in the Morning meeting of 23rd September, why are they in Winter uniform? Do we not change over to Summer on the first Sunday of September?
