  • always enjoy you vids. ive been meening to get over there.

  • would have been better if you took a video camera and filmed this instead of showing shots of it. Nice music. Who's it by?

  • @Chynaash I believe the music is by Carlos Santana

  • Did the MASH actors fall out with Alda or something? I've heard a few of them make some odd but ambiguous remarks about him in interviews.

  • @imtheduke Don't know about relationships with Alan Alda, although he wasn't there at the reunion

  • I enjoyed the video for the most part, Interesting video, however, a bit too long. I don't like to criticize but I think it would have been better to show a little more of the set and drop the beginning slides and music. The introduction seems unrelated. Also add some subtitles for the speakers, some viewers do not know their names.

  • hey great!! im a big fan of mash and i have been since i was 12, but age does not matter, just enjoy the show and these great memories

  • i love mash and i'm 25 years old

  • No one mention Alan Alda!!! Thats just weird!!!!

  • Malibu State Park is in the Santa Monica Mtns of So. California

  • and where in the world is this?

  • Worth a trip to the park to see. Im off to Korea in a couple of weeks and Im excited just because I love MASH!

  • Sorry, this is it. Don't have any more video of the event. I was disappointed that Alan Alda didn't show up

  • Is there anymore? It unfortunately ended on Mike Ferrell's speech. Thanks for posting this! It was fun to watch!

  • No, Alan Alda didn't show up. In fact, he wasn't even mentioned by anyone that spoke.

  • no Alan Alda, huh?

  • Still my favorite show of ALL TIME.

  • "So let's just be quiet for a while, and enjoy some of it."

Cue Music!! I don't think this guy knows the definition of 'quiet'.

  • @ertznay .....I thought the music was perfect .

  • nice tribute to a wonderful show! thanks for the memories! and ps: i loved the music!

  • Thanks for posting for those of us who couldn't attend due to money or distance. We appreciate it very much!

  • Thank you so much for posting this! I love the show and simply couldn't be there since I live halfway across the country, but I really felt like you brought us there. Thanks. :)

  • Strange! Some people think the music is groovy. The shitty music is by Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton, a couple of the best guitarists around. Maybe you should shorten your longdong!

  • 'shitty' from a different perspective. not because of it being SATANnna and CRAPton

  • @ivegotalongdong fk you crap shot up eric Clapton and Carlitos Santana are some of the best musicans wath you hear CRAPY yankee this ashole gay??

  • @doubled1961 as i said- SHITTY music.....

  • what is the music? Groovy.

  • The groovy music is by Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton

  • Tengo 45 y desde que tenia 12 disfruto esta maravillosa serie...ahora estoy en Uk. y nuevamente no me pierdo un solo capitulo. Inolvidable!!

  • The Fox Ranch (this location) is also the locations used by the Duke's Of Hazard & F Troop - in 1977 the F Troop "Fort" still stood-Parts of the original Planet of the Apes was filmed here as well ---Buster Keaton & Fatty Arbuckles Filmed on these grounds way back when-

  • is it just me or does father Mulcahey sound like he has been nipping into the sacremental wine?

  • im 19 yrs old started watching mash when i was 6 and havnt stopped watching it since..every day every episode..on HALLMARK! god bless who ever made the internet! and make this person into a god who ever had the idea of MASH!! :)

  • i was laughing when he said how "bumpy and rough" the road is.

I'm eighteen years old, so i obviously wasn't alive when MASH was actually on-air, but it's put on Hallmark almost everyday, and that's how I fell in love with it.

  • Kudos for posting this. I'm a life-long M*A*S*H fan. The whole cast is like a family to me when I watch the show and no matter how many times I see the end of the series TV movie I always cry. Can't help it. Had the pleasure of meeting Mike Farrell last year at the Virginia Festival of the Book and Alan Alda was lurking in the audience heckling Mike with cheesy questions . The show is along with All in the Family my favorites of all time!!!

  • great :) I hadn't known where it was shot before seeing this.

  • me either i love this show!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm a big fan of M*A*S*H (and i'm 24 years old)

  • please can you someone tell me names of men who were in shots? I love that show. It's very favorite show in Czech Republic... nice video!

  • Most people don't realize that there was an entire movie filmed there too. It was called MASH.

  • that first road u showed was in the MASH Series. Where are all the roads they drove on in the show?

  • Thanks for your comments on my M*A*S*H video. I'm amazed at the interest shown by people of all ages and persuasions

    snrhiker

  • Mike Farrell is truly a nice guy. I left a message on his website and he actually took the time to e-mail a response back personally. I was thrilled. This show will always be my favorite of all time.

  • whats the name of his website?

    thanks:)

  • how long does it take to hike there? Im not a hiker, 2.3 miles about how long??

  • It's not really a bad hike. Not much uphill and much of it on a road. Takes about an hour and a quarter to get there, plus or minus. I make it OK, and I'm 83 years old.

  • Thanx MASH...

I still love that show & bought almoust all the episodes, I'm missing 2 yrs., but I'll find them...

Thanx for the best Sitcom EVER...

  • I can't believe you didn't get a better shot of that reproduction signpost.

  • Try this one

  • Most people in Los Angeles don't know that MASH was filmed here in their backyard.

  • i like the pictures of u in the vehicals

ur so lucky to go there

    *cry* id love to go

  • thanks for that.well done.

  • was alan alda or the cast of mash at the park when u went snrhiker ?

  • That was neat! Thanks for posting!

  • That was Great to watch, it would have been nice to see more cast members there, but oh well. I wish that site was closer to where I live, so I could visit. Thanks for sharing!!

  • I'd love to see Mike Farrell and Alan Alda work together again, especially in a comedy, even if it's a supporting role.

  • We are the luckiest viewers in the world.

Sometimes we MASH fans can say some pretty dumb things, (stick obelisk scene) when it's meant well.

    Real war really sucks.

I still enjoy watching MASH , when I can get some time with myself and hide out in the shops backroom after dark. Then I can laugh as loud as I want to my hearts content.

  • Very interesting video - thanks for posting!

  • wierd, i was hiking down that Malibu Canyon path around that exact date (Feb 23 '08) scouting locations for one of my films, wish i knew this was happening, I'm a huge Mash-fanatic. God i wonder if it was indeed that exact date, for some reason i didn't walk the entire length of the path, blast!

  • Yup, that was the date

  • is there a full version of this?

  • Sorry. I have a few additional still shots, but nothing really new about the event.

  • oh ok, thank you anyways:)

  • I'm also a fan of mash.

thanks so much for sharing this video

  • That was awesome! I wish I had known the exact day of the anniversary! Hope everyone celebrated!

  • Thank you for posting this!

We had a little virtual celebration here in Germany on the German MASH Forum on that day.

There are many fans all over the world who would have loved to be there. We couldn't. But you posted this for us, so we can get a glimbse of what it would have been like to be there. Thank you for that.

  • Thank you for posting this.

We had a little virtual celebration here in Germany on the MASH-forum. There are many fans all over the world who would have loved to be there, and you posting this for us makes us feel included. Thank you!

  • i would have sold my grandmother to attend the little get-together!

  • Thanks for this video

  • Do we know who the gentleman was around 7:08? (With the can and hat.)

  • The older man is director Charles S. Dubin, who directed more episodes of the show than anyone else...

  • Ah, thank you.

  • Oh, that's wonderful! I can't believe it's been so long. That just blows my mind.

I would've given ANYTHING to be there, if I had only known! Thank you so much for filming!
