That's just a stereotype, it's not like those are the people who try THAT hard. Realy theyre just there to have a good time! if you spend loads of time making your costume and doing makeup like some people do it comes out better, i know a lot of people are really bad but that's just because they're there to have fun.
You're exactly right. Most people put a decent effort, probably two weeks to one month worth, to make a nice outfit. Then you have really hardcore cosplayers that spend months to even years to perfect their costumes..... I think that is way too overboard but to a lot of people these cons are their passion. It took me only two days just before Megacon to make my Broly outfit that you see in this video. And yes Vic is strong, he is a former police officer.
Whoa really? Now i wonder how he made the career switch from police officer to voicing the shortest alchemist of all time...X3. But I don't think it's going overboard to spend a months or years on your costume. there's always room for improvement as they say, and i prefer to call that dedication. it's impressive to say the least. one of my friends spent a bucket loads of time on a space marine costume. it was amazing AND had internal air conditioning. that is a special level of badass.
What a perfect Broly cosplayer, he's freakishly tall.. but Vic was still able to lift him, which gives us the clearly obvious conclusion that nobody reigns supreme over Vic, he wins on virtually every level.
watch the Japanese version. Its a hundred times better than the dub. But if you want to find the english version, than get the funimation dub. Its a hundred times better.
