Yes -- funny. What I hate about Kitchen Nightmares is that it seems formulaic. Gordon comes in, is served horrible food that he spits out, he changes the interior, dumbs down the menu and changes some horrible person's attitude in minutes. The targets are too broad and the solutions too simple. I think it makes the viewers feel smart. I wonder how much longer it'll last.

@WonkaVator72 I love Ramsay and all his shows but i agree about Kitchen Nightmares USA, It just the same thing over and over again, I watched Kitchen Nightmares when i visited the USA earlier this year and found it to be quite boring,

@WonkaVator72 the us version does indeed follow the formula you've described, and is far too dramatically set and edited. The uk version, however, changes much more from one restaurant to the other (and so does gordon's approach), there's no "total decor change", and the show isn't set up to make gordon angry. And no fucking suspense music. I would very much reccomend it.

@Tunissan Cool, thanks for the recommendation. This sounds similar to the case of The Apprentice. I like the British one better than the US/Trump version. Sir Alan --sorry, *Lord* Alan now -- has more interesting insights and seems less BS and fluff than Trump.

@Tunissan Maybe I'll check it out. I liked the UK version of The Apprentice (with Lord Sugar) better than the US/Trump one. Less BS. I have more respect for Sugar because he seems more genuine. He once said "Take care of your character and your reputation takes care of itself." Very wise indeed.
