idk if its the same but my disc tray would not open and would not read discs! i found a way how to fix it, Get like one of those things that look like mini crowbars and very gently pry open your disc tray now get a flashlight and look inside you may see a rubber band that is just hanging that's whats used to open the tray mine became loose and all i had to do was put it back on the spinning wheel that opens your tray it worked for me idk it might break something idk im not responsible 4 breaking

I would rather say the xbox sounds like a leafblower, and it did, but it doesnt now. Not after 2 repairs, motherboard and RROD. it sounds pretty quiet but it still sounds alot.

And who said Xbox only has 15 GB? I got an Elite and it got 120 GB. The D-Pad isnt gay, thats just your opinion. And the internet sure it costs 50$ a year, but who buys for a whole year just like that? I allways buy monthly so it cost 6$ :D

Xbox has 3 discs while PS3 has 1, but thats like you said, the disc capacity. I think Microsoft can only have around 7-8 GB on one disc, cause when you install a game to Xbox 360, its almost only 8 GB installs :P

I wonder if it will be worth it. i do have to admit it looks nice, but due to all the horrible failures up to the jasper unit I'm being very cautious of the new design. RROD/E74 im not worried about, but I'm worried over other failures that their warranty doesn't cover. For instance, I had a falcon unit i sold before it got RROD and an Opus unit which had a motherboard failure. Opus was suppose to be better :<

I've had my xbox 360 for maybe 2 years and it has RROD, and to be honest. I'm getting another 360.

I have considered getting a ps3 but i wouldn't play it as much, they are both great consoles and i don't see much point in people "protesting" the fact that one or the other is better.

When ps3 gets a party chat, and some games that i will like to play, maybe then. But i've seen the ps3 die also (YLOD) etc.

At the end of the day, it's down to how you keep your console.

Mine had the same problems, the tray kept getting stuck, the engine would wine and grind alot... Now, it doesn't work at all... and it wasn't anything I did.. dusted it, kept it on the side of my tv with plenty of ventilation... since it doesn't work at all now, I lent my cords, controllers, hard drive, and a few games to my cousins kids... they play it all the time.
