sadly im a geek about RC's but the reason why it COULDNT MAKE IT... was cuz of the open differentals AND its tires -- if anyone has noticed, certain wheels spun more than other wheels -- becasue power isnt sent equally to all wheels -- the tires on it were also junk -- the compound was to hard -- my Axiel Honcho 4x4 TR -- would have made it up TOO EASILY -- since it has 4-wheel LOCKING DIFFERENTAL ( all wheels turn at the same speed - following the wheel with most traction) / soft compount tires
I had one a few years back and it did great.! i drove it into the ground! I even too it mudin in a 2 foot deep hole and it still works for what it is! i was impressed! And with a lil careful driveing they will crawl rock too
Admittedly, it isn't the best crawler, but it's fun, dammit! I don't actually use mine for crawling, but I do use it around some of my small dirt track in the backyard and I can find tons of fun doing so.
What a disappointing performance. I bet even the Maisto Rock Crawler would power up that climb with little to no problem. And to think that this New Bright Jeep is nearly twice the price of the Maisto!
these cars suck!!!! i have one it has no power. if you want a good RC crawler go to redcat racing. and get the RS10 rock slide it is only 150 and is a competition crawler. spend the extra 70 and go for something better
can you say "UNDER POWERED CLOD STALL"??? LMAO THAT THING SUX.....but i used the body as many have!! they are nice hard bodies!! the rest goes in da TRASH or in a pond lol
@Jacksurgu If the snow is packed well it can go over it, but powder can build up on the tires and bog it down. It shouldn't go in water any higher than the bottom of the differentials, else you come close to risking electrical shorts and/or rusting of parts. Mud depends upon the mud. If it's sticky, soft mud, it will get stuck.
Hmm I dont understand why they sell these with PLASTIC tires.. I mean it looks like it 99%. At least the Nylint crawlers came with real rubber tires and could actually climb stuff in low gear...New Bright needs to shell out some money and actually use real rubber and a friggin real motor. That thing could barely climb up a grade let alone crawl over rocks.
all you have to do is sauder them back on thats what i did with my jeep like the one in the vid but mine is blue and black it is an ok jeep but the power isnt very good and the steering on mine sucks
MadTorque will do a crawl better than this,it is 1/8 scale it has 2 engines,3gears and much more , for onlye 149$ It rocks!!!!
