You CANNOT GO HUNTING WITH A TASER! Most tasers have a working limit of about 12-18 feet. Unless you are using a shotgun-style taser, which is self-containtained in the shell that is fired. When it hits you, and the prongs dig in, the capsule falls free, activating the charge. So, the person that is hit actually has a second to pull the taser free if they have their mind about them. But they still get the same 50,000 volts. [HISTORY: TASER stands for T=TomAs. S=Swift E=Electric R=Rifle]Cool
nikobellic 109: TOD was set in Ladybird for the first series, which was filmed in Hawaii. Firebase ladybird got over run by the NVA and completely destroyed. All the regulars got moved to Barnet, just outside Siagon. This second series saw the filming move to California. So it was both part of the story and also done for filming reasons.
can someone help me a few months back i was watching ToD and they were in firebase ladybird a week later they were in camp barnett someone tell me wat happened?
@TheCottonTop yes napalm is a very weird substance it sticks too things it touches and is flamable so it can be very dangerous knowing you can not put it out with water.
tour of duty rules. needs to be given way more credit. and also a flame thrower. may have not realy lasted that long. lol but who cares its an awesome show!
@MaxRideWizardLord i know for a fact. because their tanks are small. they used the same type of flame thrower in nam as they did in ww2. and durring ww2 a soldier was awarded the medal of honor for using a flame thrower on 6 or 7 bunkers i think. and he has to pick up like 4 of them
@MaxRideWizardLord bottonm line i would never where one of those things shit talking about what 60 extra pounds of equipment on your back and just makes you the biggest target for the enemy
@TheGatman101... whats even worse its not even a NCO... It was a ARVN soldier (Army of the Republic of VietNam)... "sell you some ARVN rifles, never been shot and only dropped once..." man Full Metal Jacket was a good movie, and so was this TV show Tour of Duty...
yeah, it went for about 18 seconds too long, also, where is the pressure gage on these? I have one sitting in my closet but no pressure gage, also, the only thing that knob is for is to open up the pressure tank, the pressure is adjusted by the regulator. Good scene but a lot of fantasy in it too.
why does it show 2 different flamethrowers
