  • @MegaKatiemay ooooh O___O

  • Your video went viral on Belgrade

  • Great book and great film but the play is the best of all

  • The films fantastic, but the plays stunning!

  • song name plzz

  • Can't help but think that the movie version will destroy this unique peace of work!

  • Can't Believe it! I just Watched this M0VIE IN HD now at FullMoviee.way.to Go and see what they got!

  • @gastchibelnoe1984 Sure you did...

  • Can't believe it was nearly two years ago when I saw War Horse. Easily the best thing I have ever seen in theater. It was beautiful.

  • It was simply stunning in theatre.

  • This is definitely the most amazing thing I've ever seen in my life. Everything about it was just... well, it was perfect! I think I had goosebumps throughout the whole performance.

  • This is the best piece of theatre I have ever seen in my life. I'm studying to be a theatre technician and I'm hoping one day to work with something as brilliant as this! I'm extremely jealous of everyone who gets to work on it :L

  • i love the war horse its ther best!x

  • i was there

  • This video went viral on Zambia

  • The Horses had no choice, neither did the conscript soldiers. I respect the conscripts on both sides, it was fight or be shot by your own country.

  • I just got back from seeing the film adaptation and really liked it (Steven Spielburg himself was inspired by the play to make the film). But nothing can match up to THIS. The power of theatre, live and in front of you.

  • That thing looks like Sarah Jessica Parker in bondage

  • My school did a GCSE drama trip to see this in the new London theatre, it was incredible althoguh the actors in it were different i think, or a few of them at least. it was the most amazing thing i have ever seen, at first it was inda hard to get past the facts that the horses were worked by 3 people and made of wood but the puppetiers were great and the movements of the horses were so real you stopped seeing them !

  • what's the song??

  • @nhg22 It's called "the Year Turns 'Round Again". It's on the soundtrack for the broadway play

  • This is the best play I have seen. I hope the movie is as good as the play :)

  • amazing!

  • A beautiful piece of theatre.. the best play I have ever seen and it was a pleasure to watch it. The movie just can't live up to it.

  • @MaddieLouxx I second that. However even though the movie will never be as good I hope it will be good.

  • The movie can't live up to this. Best piece of theatre I have EVER seen.

  • This was the best play I have ever saw, I don't think the up coming movie can live up to the greatness of the staged performance

  • omg kit harington :)

  • Probably the greatest play I ever seen in the theatre!... Absolutly amazing, fantastically done - evrything, including the goose!

  • @byrock119 LOVE THE GOOSE!

  • Beautiful ... UK ... was the 1st to dedicate a monument to their animal vets ... horses from WW 1. This movie is their history - rightfully as it should be. As always, the US followed suit - we now have a monument from what I understand in DC ... for the dogs who served with the US military peeps in numerous battles.

  • i love war horse and i think the boy who is playin albert in this trailer is really good at acting xxxx

  • Saw this yesterday. Seriously the most incredible thing I have ever watched; it comepletely lived up to the book too! Thank you for such a great show, everyone in the theatre was on their feet by the end. Amazing!

  • Read the book, dont know if itz the same thing.

  • saw his for a drama trip on wesenday such a buitful peice of drama, incredible.

thank you for putting on a amazing show

  • ive seen it 2 its amazing

  • I saw this today with my Drama class, nearly everyone in the theater cried. It is a beautiful piece of work and I feel privileged to have been able to see such a wonderful show.

  • this is an adorable piece of theater - very clever on so many levels - the way the horses behaved was very convincing - unusual stylish memorable - you will feel good after seeing it

  • stunning show, i saw it over a year ago and hearing that music suddenly brought the whole thing back............cut to five minutes and quite a few tissues later, I'm fine.

  • @rocksmaymelt i saw last night i thought the music was good and worked really well, it is the same as music playing in a movie, i wouldnt say it brought it back

  • Music by John Tams. So beautiful.

  • the music gives me chills, can't wait for a soundtrack, I blubbed like a baby when I went to see this, truly moving :')

  • I saw it and it made me cry it was so good

  • The most moving and engrossing play you'll ever see!!!!

  • Best thing I have seen on stage in my life.

  • Never seen anything in my life so amazing. Really did not think it would live up to my expectations but it did, and more. Just go and see for yourself. Bravo.

  • Am going to see this in London tomorrow. Oh the expectations!

  • Joey: the coolest puppet in the universe.

The Goose: the second coolest puppet in the universe.

  • Never mind it is a play. But what is the song used in the trailer?

  • Is there a soundtrack?

  • This was the most moving and astounding and wonderful piece of theatre I have ever seen.

  • To "gloomyoutlook":

I don't accept or personally respond to thuggish or foul mouthed ranters.

  • OMG, is there a video on youtube were one of the first comments i read is a political argument.

  • I was an emotional wreck in this show...if you love horses its so upsetting :'( xxx

  • This was the most amazing west end show i have ever seen xx

  • if you dislike this you are gay

  • Fucking Brilliant!

  • Makes you proud to be British knowing that we came up with this amazing piece of theatre.

  • I have seen this show in the west end...amazing, moving and very clever and I don't understand the negative comments to be honest. I highly recommend the show live. Very moving.

  • The songs in this show always give me chills!

  • This is one of those musicals that I will HAVE to see to get the feeling of it. Most musicals I can listen to the soundtrack and picture it in my head, but this one makes me WANT to be there.

  • Yeah, seriously. The black guy in the play was a real downer. Get outta here.

  • i went to see this just the other day...truly EPIC! money well spent!

  • That was the best broadway show I've ever watched, There is now bad seat, but I would recommend the 4th row seats in the middle of the theater :) that's were I was and it was fantastic! I was crying so much I got a headache!

  • I loved this so much went to see it recently for my birthday and it was the best theatre production I have ever been too. I have never cried at a theatre piece before but during and afterwards i couldn't stop. Everyone that went to the show loved it and the man who played Albert ( Jack Monaghan) when I went to see he was absolutely amazing. So if you are thinking of going to the theatre I would recommend this. It is different from the book but they had to do that to make it easier for theatre.

  • Is it good? I presume it is :) but I don't no wether to ask to see this or the phantom of the opera as a Christmas pressie to see next year. What do you think?

  • @BeccaLovesWicked Go see WarHorse, it's incredible!

  • the horses are amazing! :D

  • I am told, the British lost 8 million horses during WW-1. The monument that stands to remember these noble beasts reads; "They, Had No Choice...." Truth, Joy, and Misery, reads the same, in all tongues, and across all times. Will

  • wait is this a musical?

  • @born2ride929 No, it's a play adapted from a children's book 'War Horse' by Michael Morpurgo

  • i saw this show 3 days ago it was the best thing that i ever saw it was amazing

  • I saw it last month, FRIGGEN AMAZING SHOW!!!

  • made me laught, but i do really want to see it

  • JUST SAW IT....AWESOME!!!!!!

  • Just saw it- it was amazing!

  • I dont get it - why is the horse transparent?

  • @CarlVonNirgendwo So the actors inside the horse can see out, I'd imagine.

  • I saw War Horse at the New London Theatre with my school! It was just amazing to watch! xxx

  • Have not seen this play but read the book & will see the play this spring ('12) in S.F. Also will see the movie. I find the story poignant & haunting=can't get it out of my mind! This production looks terrific=love the music, puppets, story (of course) etc.

  • THERES A MOVIE|!!!!!!!!!!

  • There's 11 horse's asses on here...

  • @zeeamja1 nope not 2012, Dec. 28 2011

  • hey guys i can confirm that a film version will released soon, in 2012. it will directed by steven spielberg

  • so glad this won the tony :)

  • maxiboy666- It's just a play and black guy is an actor in that play. I don't think they're trying to be politically correct. There are black actors and actresses in plays from Shakespeare to Les Miserables.

  • Could someone please tell me the name of the song at 0:20??

  • is kit harrington on 0:16?? when he was in this play in the london theater???

  • @vanaiel yeah!! He's Kit!! And I don't believe that he ins't in the film made for Spielberg!! I'm ungry!!

  • @tequiness061 that makes two of us angry that he was not picked for the role of albert!!!!!!i mean what was spielberg thinking....maybe Kit was busy with Game of Thrones and Silent hill or whatever but yeah that makes 2 of us!!!!! he looked so cute in War Horse, I love him!!!!

  • @vanaiel ,,,and don´t forget this...Do you know all the positive things that will bring on Kit Harington if he will make this film???Cause Spielberg has made the film!!

  • @tequiness061 yeahh they would be extremely important but spielberg didn´t picked him ¬¬ but Kit is going to have great things since GOT and Silent Hill he is going to do great ^^

  • @vanaiel ohh I really really hope so!!!!

  • Only if I had the money to buy a ticket.........sigh sigh sigh!!!!!

  • @TheOtgo Re-mortgage your house, sell your kids, whatever it takes - just buy a ticket. It is a breath-taking piece of theatre, quite unlike anything I have ever seen. Incredibly moving. Highly recommended.

  • Thumbs up if you're glad this won the tony award.

  • @DramaKaw - It won, like, five Tonys. I could not believe how much this play affected me. I'm not even that crazy over horses and it was the best stage production I've seen in my life. Lion King was amazing too, but it was mostly for the eyes. It didn't move you the way War Horse did.

  • I love this show!!!!

  • why the heck isn't this in America? :( Well, at least we have the Spiderman musical lol!

  • @barbaro267 this is coming to america actualy, its already being rehursed in broadway, it will be out really soon. :). you have to see it, its the best thing ive seen ever. :)

  • I really really want to see thisssss! :) x

  • I didn't notice the ethnicity of the officer either but he did have a damn fine Devon accent however, I did spot that the horses weren't real as nobody had to sweep up after them..

  • Beautiful! Love the music & it looks breath-taking & emotional. Want to see War Horse but don't know if I can handle it emotionally! It seems poignant! Saw it on the Tonys last nite & was not familiar with it b/4 that. (Don't go to live theater but this one has me tempted). That's if it doesn't haunt me too much. Vicki

  • Movie coming out in january <3

  • What book is this based off of?

  • @bioshock123458 Er...... would you believe ''War Horse''?

  • @bassoonman444 I would actually, I wasn't sure if it was one of those situations where they change the title of the play (or movie) from what the book was

  • I have tickets to see the show in July. I hope I don't cry through the entire show.

    '

  • A great story and done brilliantly on stage. Though the black officer in WW1 is a little too political correct for my liking.

  • @maxiboy666 Yes but the character isn't black, just the actor. In theatre, nowadays at least, colour tends to take a back seat to talent and demand. The actor who played the role before him was white, the one after could be asian. Just depends on who auditions and who's in the best, but in terms of the play itself, his colour is never mentioned (from what I can remember, I was sobbing most of the time)

  • @Noyeha So if the play was about a boy and a horse in a North American tribe, wouldn't it look a bit stupid with a black guy playing an Red Indian? You cannot change history. Fact is fact and although it pains me to bring this point up over a fabulous production, I cannot ignore it.

  • @maxiboy666 Well, no it wouldn't. The whole point of theatre is suspension of disbelief, and we've gotten to the point in society where, if the play is good enough, you can move past an actor's ethnicity and believe they're the person they're meant to be playing, not the person they are. And there were black people in WW1, perhaps not many but there were some serving, on both sides

  • @maxiboy666 And I'm not trying to argue, honest, arguing on youtube is the last thing I want to get into, but 'Red Indian' really isn't a term that should be used anymore. And yes, if there was a play based on first nation peoples in the UK, I'd fully expect some roles to be filled by non-first nation actors. It's theatre and the horses are puppets

  • @maxiboy666 You might as well complain that the horses aren't real.

  • @maxiboy666 Absolutely. Black officers in the British Army on the Western front in WW1 never existed. Trust the left wing theatre producers to erase reality and insert fiction for the sake of stupid political correctness!

Whether film or stage the historical and factual context should be kept. It's the same as producing play about the Zulu wars with Nicholas Cage playing the Zulu King, Cetshwayo. How many black people would have complained about that?

  • @maxiboy666 i guess it would be like a white guy in prgy and bess..

  • @maxiboy666 not at all. there were black flyers in the french esquadrille in WW I. europeans had little of the black prejudices americans still have.

  • Comment removed

  • @maxiboy666 If theatre directors went on being 'politically correct', that black actor would never get a decent part, particularly in period pieces. They looked beyond the skin colour, why can't you?

  • Comment removed

  • @SillyWingComedy sorry it doesnt suit you.....would you

like a cookie now that you made your point?

  • @SillyWingComedy So by your analogy, black actors are sheep to white actors who are horses?? Uhh okay. Theater is about performance and art. If you want pure historical authenticity then that's what movies and documentaries are for. I've seen black actors play lead roles in Shakespeare plays and I recently saw Les Miz which had a black actress playing Eponine. Nobody had a problem with it. I hope someday people can just go to a play and just judge the performance and not the skin color.

  • @righdowncharlie Took the words out of my mouth!

  • @celizabeth7 Wait, wouldn't "politically correct" imply that they would only cast black actors in period-appropriate roles because that's the way it mostly was back then?

Honestly it seems like nobody can come to a consensus on what "PC" means except that it's omg horrible.

  • @maxiboy666 If you can suspend disbelief enough to pretend that three people in a mechanical structure is a horse, you should be able pretend that colour was not an issue back then. This is theatre, not film. If a woman can play a man, then a black man can play a white man.

  • @maxiboy666

are you saying there were NO black soliders in WWI?

  • @maxiboy666

and I suppose by that logic, black actors should be precluded from doing shakespeare plays, unless it's othello. are you absolutely out of your fucking mind? they're actors, you complete idiot

  • @gloomyoutlook If you plan to make an authentic Othello, blacks are out of question.

  • @Dodo251

No. Othello, as it was performed in Shakespeare's time, was inauthentic.

  • Would love to see this!!

  • can't wait for the movie to come out!

  • Just saw this yesterday... I can't even give you words to describe how incredibly amazing it was. It's changed my life and views on war dramatically. I love war horse.

  • Oh, God... even after seeing it twice, this trailer NEVER ceases to make me all tearful... "You're a bon boy, Joey..."

  • how can 10 people dislike this?? its the best production i have ever seen, this trailer makes me cry!! i've seen it twice once with school and once with the family i could watch war horse all day every day and never get bored its amazing.

  • 9 people have no soul

  • what is the name of the music?? i hope that cames to germany too =D i want to see it too!!! but now, i want to listen more in this wonderful music

  • @StreunerinDerWelten full music video search for Spirit -The Year Turns Around Again. I would love to see the show but I stuggle to make it through the trailer without crying!

  • These puppets are amazing!! They make them move so realisticly, it's like you forget it's not a real animal!! Can't wait for it to come to Broadway; I want to see it so badly! My friend saw it in London, and said it was fantastic
