Devarajan master doesnt use classical music as such in any of his songs.His base was carnatic or hindusthani but when a song passes thru his fingures it becomes immortal.He used many ragas brilliantly in his compositions , but for the common man , to listen , enjoy and sing together. Their lies his greatness. Not like some music directors , who compose songs for one singer only.
