  • THE SOUND QUALITY SUCKS. WHY UPLOAD.

  • Better than Quantum of solace.

  • at the chorus, the movie version says "ive seen this diamond cut through harder men" while the original says "ive seen diamonds cut through harder men"

    true or not?

  • fricking cool animations

  • Hey, can anyone tell me why the hell the title of this film is "Casino RoyalE"?! what is with this freaken 'E' ?! in english it is 'Royal' the same in french and german... I'm still looking for a language with word "Royale"... :S

  • its french

  • The book took place in France so there's alot of French language stuff, including the title.

  • It's the name of the casino. It's not alluding to the concept of 'royalty'.

    Check out Fleming's original novel.

  • Well, the Casino in the book is in France but in the movie its in Montenegro.

  • Craig is by far the all time best 007 of all, til now. Themore Casino Royale is the right reboot everybody's waiting to put JB back to nowadays with more action, more style, more feelings, more intelligence, more rudeness, more everything. The music also is the best 007 theme.

  • daniel craig is the best bond!!!!

  • It's too early for me to say.

  • yeah maybe ur rite. we'll just say its the best yet.

  • fell in luv with the song the first time i herd it !!!

  • My favorite movie. I hope this movie (including the musical theme) shows to rebels or common spectators that characters like Batman, Mulder & Scully, Spiderman or James Bond have their human side and not must be exploited as silly stereotypes.

  • Being a Bond fan I actually enjoyed every one of the films and find it hard to say one is better than another as they're all so different. I loved all of the Moore films, he's so funny and the bad guys are so over the top its great, who wouldn't enjoy these films

  • 1. Moore

    2. Who cares?

  • All of you be reasonable. Most of you will agree that Connery is the best bond, but it's hard to say who's second. In that category l yould put Moore, Brosnan and Craig. Finaly Dalton and on the last place "suprisingly" Lazenby. So too sum up it goes like this :

    Connery

    Moore

    Brosnan

    Craig

    Dalton

    Lazenby

  • No way Brosnan is above Moore.

  • fix the sound...goes loud and quiet over and over

  • I'm not a Bond fan, but I like it cos i feel Daniel Craig has created an almost different character, which is cool, far edgier!

  • More like

    1. Connery

    2. Brosnan

    3. Dalton

    4. Craig

    5. Moore & Lazenby - both in same 'crap' catagory

  • more like...

    1 Connery

    2 Craig

    3 Brosnan

    4 Moore

    5 Dalton

    Again Lazenby doesn't count

  • netither does dalton

  • to Errol2k , bond never died after brosnan, it was given the breath of fresh air that left the role with timothy dalton and connery, craig rules best bonds

    1.Craig

    2.CONNERY

    3.DALTON

    4.BROSNAN

    5.MOORE

    6. LAZENBY DOESNT COUNT(RUBBISH)

  • finaly we have a new mr.bond, Craig is the man.

IMO also nice they dont use to much gadget like in the former bond movies (invisibel cars and all the stuff..)

  • Mr. Craig on a high-trip! I thought the name of Bond was associated with fascination what 'others' showed for him. He looks like a hired assassin warning off his would-be-victims! And obiously no woman is going to 'awe' on that one! Like I said before, Mr. Bond died when they said bye to Pierce Bronson.

  • yea da song is preety tight ,its like a c+ nigga!

  • its called you know my name

  • the movie is good but if it had more effects in it

  • I just watched that movie and I needed to know what this song was called... I loved it!

  • its called you know my name

  • the best 007 opening was the the world is not enough.

  • AGREED w/Nalind123 but this one is second best :3

  • amazing animating

  • when watching this at the cinema i was transfixed (not by the silhouettes of daniel craig's arse and muscles) by the cool graphics (i do graphic design). oooh

  • i think this is awesome

  • It doesn't seem as though anyone has read any of the Ian Fleming books. It also seems as though no one has anything intelligent to say about the movie either...

  • ther were supposed to be no girls, those were meant for pierce brosnan's openings

  • i liked the movie, the theme song is ok,BUT the opening credit SUCKED ASS!! WTF!! No naked girls. Without them,Its not a 007 opening

  • et wosent cool i sall the move yuo did not make eny chenges

  • i just say this movie yesterday, major ownage!

  • I've posted a better version with better audio. Click on my name to see it.

  • i have a question for everyone, this movie takes place when he first becomes 007 correct, in the movie he has a cell phone and stuff from the present time period, but one of the movie (i forget which) takes place during the cold war... so how does that happen?

  • Well, James Bond is a code name, just like 007 is a code name. Each time a Bond is killed or retires, he is replaced by an up and comming operative who assumes the identity of Bond. So, yes, there was a cold war Bond, but it wasn't this Bond.

yes, I am kidding before anyne flames me.

This is kinda like starting the story from sratch and setting it in modern day. So forget what has gone before. this is what would happen if the stories were set now.

  • ohh i see, tnx =)

  • I disagree about the "James Bond" codename, though probable it just doesn't sit right but they did say it was a "reboot" of the movie franchise so yes a new story and timeline but same character. Bravo to Daniel Craig as well!

  • I did say I was kidding. We have always had to suspend some believe. Otherwise, even in Brosnan's time James Bond would have been pushing 70 years old.

  • Actually according to Ian Llemming and the producer of James Bond, the name James bond is not a code name. The James Bond that we see in all of the 21 films suppost to be the same one. In one of Pierce's Bond movies, Sean Connery was suppost to appear, but this was not allow becuase there is only one Bond.

  • Ever heard of suspension of disbelief, you jackass?

  • the audio is pretty crappy

if the audio was good this wud be a great vid!!!

    :-D

  • The audio is like this in the dvd i just got the dvd and it goes up and down in volume all the time!

  • Tuernah, here is 3 points For ya:

    1. If you havn't thought of it already (typical of ure dumb brain) film producers need to get new actors every now and then. durrrrrrrrrr.

2.Maybe if you were in Bonds position you might go a bit soft on a woman you love when you have a horribly scary and risky job.

    3. Just because he's blonde no need to moan like a little toddler mate. Agents can be blonde eg Alex Rider.

PS. SHUT THE HELL UP! your sincerely MaxHusky. lol

  • what a crap audio

  • this is so cool..of course I saw the movie first

but I liked the begenning so thanks.

  • It's interesting that, though this was the first JBond book written, it took a whole 20-odd films to get round to making it! I'm happy they stayed close enough to the script of the book- no making up lots of mindless crap. I think Brosnan was the best Bond, though- Craig's too... I dont know... BLOND to be BOND

  • I wasnt sure of Craig at first but hes actually pretty good. He plays it more like Flemings Bond but overall i also think Bronsnan was the best..apart from Connery that is.

  • Wow Tuernah you're a fucking loser. the first post put it down..but then the rest of your posts just made it clear. you're a real fucking loser. maybe you should write a bond movie..and then star in it. and see how everyone likes you're scrawny punk ass?

  • una de las mejores peliculas de james bond, son de las pocas que no me aburren y daniel craig es excelente, this movie didn`t boring me like another ones.

  • Probably the best bond intro, and they didnt have to use naked chicks for it either!

  • Where did you download this? I would love it.

In my opinion, having seen almost every Bond film, this is one of the good ones. Because it shows us the Bond before he settled down and became the charming ruthless 007 we all know. Even if it isn't exactly true to the book. Ian Flemming did not write all the books, he died before some were completed. A couple of the movies are based on his uncompleted books, and others are plots all to themselves.

  • Point taken on being a green Bond, ergo as a clueless rookie he falls in love until later learns to know better. Maybe that's why they cast a metrosexual beefsteak blond boy toy for the role instead of man. To tell us what a joke he was before he grew some black hair, became a man and transformed into Sean Connery.

  • The only part worth watching as many Bond fans agree was the openning chase, which was awesome. The rest of it was double-o-lame. And Ian Fleming's BOND was never a blond gym rat with gelled up new wave hair who goes gaga over female doubleagents. What a disgrace.

  • I beg to differ. What I think of the movie is that it's the beginning of Bond's career as 007, which is why he goes nuts over someone, and says 'I love you'. Oh and for the record, yes I am a teen (almost 15 to be exact), but my sis and bro (22 and 18 respectively) and my mom n' dad (both 40-odd years) thought it was very good, even if the movie had a few flaws.

  • Worst Bond movie ever made.

  • whoever you are you must a twat or blind that film was brilliant

  • 'brilliant' movie for teens who can't talk without being insulting and who think James Bond is Pierce Brosnan. For the rest of us familiar with Bond history, this 'Bond' was a hip hop street punk and the screenplay was written by high school kids. Totally embarrassing.

  • Oh my god! What the hell are you talking about? I saw this movie, and it was really good! This intro is asome too. Much better than the intro of Die Another Day. And what do you mean with teens? My father is 52, and really enjoyed this movie, and so did my mom. This movie wasn't embarrassing. It was brilliant!

  • for your info ive seen all the james bond films from start to finish and what makes u think im a kid?? im not stupid

  • Em Ian Flemming wrote all the books up to Licence to Kill after which he died! Goldeneye, Tommorow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day are the ones he did not write. Casino Royale is only adapted and some of the themes from the book are not in the film!

  • James Bond books Nr Name Year 1. Casino Royale1 1953 2. Live and Let Die 1954 3. Moonraker2 1955 4. Diamonds Are Forever 1956 5. From Russia with Love 1957 6. Dr. No 1958 7. Goldfinger 1959 8. For Your Eyes Only3 1960 9. Thunderball4 1961 10. The Spy Who Loved Me5 1962 11. On Her Majesty's Secret Service 1963 12. You Only Live Twice 1964 13. The Man with the Golden Gun6 1965 14. Octopussy and The Living Daylights7 1966
  • Look, people ignorant of Fleming--Die Another Day was not a real Bond movie, nor for that matter were any of Roger Moore's films, or Diamonds Are Forever. They were shitty superhero films that happened to have a british accent. You may go to hell and I will go to Casino Royale.

  • gay

  • best movie ever!!!

  • I was surprised at how good this movie is. The theme rocks as well. Thanks for this.

  • Mads Mikkelsen is COOL in it!!!

  • the move was quite good :D but this intro and the song was plain thru awesome!

  • best bond film along with goldeneye and my favorite bond theme ever

  • of course this is not a regular james bond movie but this is his origin, how he became a 00

  • I think y'all need to do some research! This is based on the first book in the series. And so, if you are thinking that this is not like a "normal" Bond film, you are correct! This is an explanation for why he is the way he is. I thought it was great, and I was not expecting the ending, although I knew something tragic was going to occur. The sequence totally set the movie up for me, the song is perfect.

  • really liked this opening, the movie was kick ass!!

  • the movie sucked, it was totally not a james bond movi.

  • Yeah; the sounds dont exactly fit with the images. Maybe it was cut out from a pirate DVD...

  • Dat iz de most unusual and the best opening 2 a movie i hav eva seen.

  • why does he shoot the camera and then the song strts it suppsoed to be shoot the camera then how a lil dudey clip then the song

  • lol <3 this Intro :p

  • The opening itself was freaggin amazing! I love the song, I love the animation, I love Daniel Craig! Excellent movie!

  • Daniel Craig is hot

    x

  • signed

  • I really hope this is a reset, and I really do hope they go back and do the novels in order. They butchered the novels so much after the first few movies (and those were out of order as well, got knows why).

The next book would be Live and Let Die. No, it has nothing to do with illicit drug trafficking or foreign diplomats, it has to do with buried treasure and Mr. Big as a SMERSH operative.

  • Not going to happen for now... It's already been confirmed that the next two Bond movies will be an original storyline. On the rumor mill side, Bond 22 is to be titled "Risico"...

  • Love this opening sequence.

  • Aint Q dead though?! :S

  • i am surprised to find that no one has commented on the fact that tere is no Q character... you know... he is the one who shows bond all the cool gadgets and tells him to get it back to him for once... come on people!

  • This movie is supposed to be Bond in his rookie days (a prequel). He's not yet the James Bond we all know about yet. His first assignment as a 00 agent is Le Chiffre in a Casino to gamble. Pretty light assignment compared to previous ones. If you'll follow the films, he was introduced to Q branch when he's already a full-fledged licence to kill agent in Dr. No...

  • Are you sure? Because in the old movies, M was a man. The lady M came to replace him in GoldenEye.

  • That's also the part which is confusing to me too... I could only think of if this is a pre-quel of sorts, "M" should be a man, but if it's a reboot of the series, then a "lady M" is logical since it will restart the Bond franchise anew...

  • Hmm... probably.

  • that's the dumbest thing ive ever heard just go with it

  • Very good movie... My only complain is, why was M a woman? If this was a pre-quel, the producers should cast M as a man... Michael Cain would make a good choice...

  • The film isn't really a pre-quel. It's not meant to come before all the previous films. It's kind of a reboot, like a restart of the whole Bond story. If it was a pre-quel, it would be set during the cold war.

  • Well, that's about as far from Binder as you can get.

  • when it first started i wasnt too sure - but when i fully saw it, it turned out to be good.

  • Best opening 2 a film i hav seen so far. Out of all de films. It's so unique and unusual.

  • Something different. It seemed like they toned down the playboy aspect, I assume to make it more believable that Bond is still a man capable of falling in love, and hasn't yet become the womanizer of later films. That and Bond kicking ass is always cool. I hope Craig's remaining films feature him in the credits like this.

  • Was I the only one to notice that there were no girls in this bond intro. I figured it was because bond (the bond that we know nad love) was not yet bond until the end. Maybe I think too much into it.

  • Emmy Rossum...best opening ever.

  • oh, the fractals, the fractals....

  • title design and song are just great.

does anyone know who did the main title design??

  • Daniel Kleinman, who has done them all since Maurice Binder sadly passed away.

The lyrics to this song have very VAGUE references to themes in the movie, much like a lot of other Bond lyrics. The ones that mention the actual title are the best, though - the only ones to not do it are Dr. No, OHMSS (although that lyric-less song DID have lyrics at one point mentioning OHMSS) and Octopussy.

Nobody Does It Better has the line "...the spy who loved me..." cleverly shoe-horned in, also.

  • Daniel Kleinman, who has done the titles since Goldeneye. This is of miserable sound quality, by the way.

  • I think I answered this, it seems to have disappeared. It was Daniel Kleinman, who has done the titles since GoldenEye (Maurice Binder passed away before that).

  • I really like how the theme of the film is reflected in the title sequence, with every one of the suits in a pack of cards being represented. A nice animation that is very unlike the sometimes trippy "women floating around all over the place" style of the late great Maurice Binder. Good show, Kleinman.

  • Best opening ever... Chris is awesome...

  • Wow... I love the mathematical designs in this opening... If you don't know what I mean, look up fractals. Watch the scenes at 00:41 and 02:27.

  • i realy love this opening!

  • most fantastic opening

  • thx to you king simmy

  • on the contrary, the song is related to this movie. it's about 'life as a hitman' and the lyrics contain some elements about gambling (look up the lyrics is my advise). The fact that the lyrics do not contain the words 'casino royale' does not mean there is no relation.

  • only bad thing about this vid is the fact that the song has absolutely no relation to the movie like tomorrow never dies has or live and let die... but the visuals are very good

  • what, because it never says 'casino royale' in the lyrics? you should listen to the lyrics. they fit the point of the movie perfectly.

  • Are you kidding? You do know Chris Cornell wrote the song for the movie, right? Have you even listened to the lyrics? It fits the plot of the movie perfectly! Bond as an inexperienced Double-0, learning painful lessons about trust? HELLO!? One interpretation could even be that the song is sung from the point of view of M, who just promoted Bond. Seriously, think a little more before you write crap like that.

  • i bloody well know that i'am not deaf or anything.

i just miss hearing casino royale :'(

if you were offended i am sorry

  • of course it have

    pay atention to the lyrics

    it refer gambling, betrail, etc.

  • maybe not but it does have a meaning - this is the first bond film where he is introduced (based on the novels) and its symbolising it may be the first film (novel) but we already know his name, hence "you know my name"

  • yes it does, its like not only the return of Bond but its also a rebirth for the character. This movie was 100000000000times better than Die Another Day!

  • gotta love it

  • not just ice and lava girls dancing, this is really good. Really really good.

  • Best opening to a Bond flim.

  • A classic Bond theme and maybe the best

  • Telesync? Thanks for uploading this, but we REALLY need a better quality version.

  • You have to wait until the end of March 2007 to get a high quality version of this... It's the date of the Casino Royale dvd release

  • Its taken me ages to find this! The best part of the film lol

  • The ending is amazing. NINJA BOND!

  • Thats not the long ending, it justb cos his face blacks out, and the vid stopped there.

  • No, I saw the movie. I remember the last two chords of the song cover up everything except his eyes and then it pauses for a split second so he looks like a ninja and then disappears with the final cadence.

  • i thought it was very interesting, i loved it

  • i like the opening in the movie its really creative

    great movie too

  • I love it :D so good..

  • when i saw the opening scene of casino royale, i didn't think i would like it...but after seeing this intro i fell in love!

  • I just watched the movie and I loved this... I especially love thhe knife fight where the thug explode into diamonds ^^

  • nice spoilers jerk

  • it's in the opening you fucking dumbass

  • This is one of my fav Bond moments. I too kanevivi was on a high seeing this bit. It is super!

  • A subtle reference to the character of Vesper! When her face is revealed, she's the queen of hearts, but what lies beneath is the queen of spades!

  • the two shots through the 7 of hearts was cool.

  • That was to make up Bond's new status as 007.

  • you know when i first watched it made me feel high.

  • i love the way the song is put with the graphics

"ive seen angels fall from blinding heights" i just love this song!

  • super-super graphics. and love the rotoscoped animation of the actors fighting

  • I can't get the opening to this song out of my head.

  • nor can i this movie is brilliant... in harmony with this theme tune =D
