in my opinion if i had the cash i would go for the gtr faster better bang for the buck and i was never into porsche styling same thing every year mainly paying for the brand name and i would still have 25k on the side which i could use to up the hp on the gtr but thats just what i think

No longer will you be able to really do your own work on your car, and it's just not the same as a 100% combustion engine vehicle. Sigh...

A kindergartner could learn how to use the paddle shifters, and the computerized awd system can make even the most awful drivers look good drifting around corners. Driving a 911 well takes skill, which is why it is more of a driver's car than a GTR.

If you mean the 7:26 time, I don't trust it because it was made by Nissan. Drivers republic put it against Porsche GT2 and the results were:

GT-R 7:55

GT2 7:49

They also said GT2 could have done better, because they were afraid to drive it at the limit, but the GT-R not so much, because it was at the limit.

I've always loved the GT3 but they need to make it more powerful. I am not sure if they have a turbo version, but I think the ZR1 is a better pick price and performance wise.

@JROD9496 the gt3's turbo version is the 911 turbo. Gt3 is designed to be lighter and faster, essentially a track day car. Not as extreme as the rs version.
