  • this is some kind of thermal paint that react with the temperature of his breath

  • I want this video on my G3000 unit.

  • If I used extremely sensitive thermochromic paint (if they make that) would the whole mask change from the temperature around it?

  • This video went viral on Mongolia

  • What material do you use for the mask?

  • for sale?

  • I desperately want to buy one of these from you. You've done the best job out of any of the do-it-yourself inkblot masks I've seen.

  • Mum: what do you wnat for your birthday?

Me: a mask with thermo-chromic paint on it, a long coat, a hat and a gun thats shoots out this hook-thing so i can get up places....oh, and a journal.

mum: why that, they dont sound...normal

Me: Do you want me to be badas, or not?

  • NO! HIS FACE!!! GIVE HIM BACK HIS FACE!!!

  • How can I make one?

  • looks like shit....its not moving....the part around the mouth is just fading in and out...there's a difference between moving and fading

  • SATIN has taken his SOUL.

  • remember "Hyper color" clothing??! ha ha

  • How do you see?

  • thats awesome

  • hey what's the mask made of it doesnt look like spandex or anyother cheap crap

  • I suppose the only thing to do in order to make the paint move in places other than where you breath, it would need to be more sensitive to temperature, even More so than this.

  • How does it work ?

  • good idea to use the thermochromic paint but you can only see significant movement around your mouth, so until somebody makes one that moves at random, i will not be completely happy :|

  • @RYNO2511

If only we could make a Rorschach mood (ring) mask... Mood rings have been around forever... they haven't made a paint yet? Maybe it could do things like jagged, sharp, shapes when angry or excited... Long, wispy shapes when happy... dark, bold/bulky, shapes when sad... *shrug* Too much to ask for in our current time? Maybe it hasn't been done because your hand has different heat signatures than your face... :(

  • @FireHidrentPro uuuhhh mood rings...dont exactly really work

  • everyone knows thermo-chronic paint causes cancer

  • @xMJxPRODUCTIONSx

Everyone knows you're a fucking idiot.

  • @SirNawtsonChin guess someone doesn't have a sense of humor

  • Either that or your jokes aren't funny.

  • @arcanistsmaster or maybe it's just unintentional trolling

  • @xMJxPRODUCTIONSx, so it was probably Roschach's fault that people connected to Dr. Manhattan got cancer.

  • @Gambit1997 EXACTLY!!

  • hehehe it would be SO BADASS to have a tattoo like that O_O

  • SWEET, but at least give some info next time. PS: try somthing thats texture doesn't look like your moms panties, unless that wouldn't work . You still put more work into it than I would anytime soon.

  • @2biofan That's how Rorschach's mask looks in the film. He has it right.

  • dude that has to be cg if it isnt pls for the of god tell meh i'm really curious now

  • when i saw the watchmen movie and rorshcach whitout mask. i relaized why he wears the mask. xD :D.

    ps. joke joke joke!

  • @kusettajat he looks normal o.0

  • @TheEmelianenkoFedor i said joke. :)

yep. he looks normal. but i thought that would be good joke.

    :)

  • @kusettajat sorry but thanks for commenting on my vid :)

  • @TheEmelianenkoFedor no problem. :)

your video helped me alot. :D

  • @kusettajat just showing people that you don't need to fucking waste shitload of time for music :) Man I want this damn mask

  • fucking bad ass. Explain this in video man... imagine a thousand rorchachs running around on halloween because of you.

  • how do u get that moving? and where can i get that too? plz answer soon. =)

  • Please tell me where to get this / sell me one, that would be badass walking around with this, everyone would be like wtf

  • That. Is. So. Cool.

  • Hey would you be willing to sell me one?

    Just reply back thanks :D

  • He made it with black thermo-chromic paint. It turns transparent at a certain temperature (heat from your breath)

  • Where can I buy it? Is it too expensive?!

    Please answer me.

  • @grezgorzdrozd interesting, should try that

  • How did you make this?

  • can some one teach me how to make one how do you make the patterns please help

  • How did you do that?

  • fuckin class, okay rorschach nxt costume party

  • where do you buy thermochronic ink?

  • Ok that was just badass.

  • watchmen was released in 2009, and november 1st 2009 hasnt happened yet

  • october 31st is halloween you fucking bellend

  • you mean got high from sharpies?

  • dude really......tell me more i am making one.

  • GIVE ME BACK MY FACE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dude i like that part

  • this is the best one made yet

  • I have a similar mask that uses thermochromatic pearls. How do you get the mask to go from black to clear so easily? Mine goes away and then barely comes back at all.

  • shit i want 1

  • Oh man, I want to buy one of these. Great work!

  • where/how can i buy thermocratic ink?

  • nice. people usually arent able to get anywhere other than the mouth to move. you got a little eye action there

  • its thermocronic ink that turns clear/transparent upon reaching high tempatures. This guy achieves this effect by breathing on the ink

  • Hmm.. breathing in ink doesn't sound like a very good idea...

  • Where can i buy one?

  • howed you make it like that

  • newsflash!!! He's breathing. breath has temperature too...

  • was in a bidding war and lost for this

  • how do u do that

  • It appears that the ink vanishes or changes color in ordinance with the changing temperature of the face....very intriguing.

  • I would buy one of these

  • Love it! Good choice in the design too.

  • wtf cool

  • If you used non-toxic thermochromic paint or ink could you tell me where you got it from? plz!!!

  • Would be cool if you could transfer the air around the mask and not just around the mouth/nose area

  • hey wut do u mix with the thermocromic paint

  • how long will this work for???

  • forever. its basically dying the fabric.

  • u should show us how to make that lol

  • Where can I buy this?

  • you get the finished product at ebay for 40$

  • ya i was wondering if paint with pearl will kill u but thats not paint with pearl wat paint is that

  • is that paint bad for you? That is car paint.

  • its not car paint. I have this paint he used. and am making thermo masks all the time. and so far, no one's died. it's just thermochromic pigment. Nothing poisonous. youre thinking paint with pearl. that shit'll kill you quick.

  • the paint with pearl website said you can use it to paint masks

  • ok, where can you get aq mask like tht? plz tell!

  • a little flesh colored

  • If you want to see a really good brown rorschach trenchcoat then msg me.

  • Is that paint odorless?

  • yes

  • yes. it is. odorless, tasteless, harmless.

  • A how to-video would be great.

  • WITCHCRAFT!

  • @mikeinike8747 Look at that disgusting display...

    YES SIR!!!

  • where can you get the rest of the costume? anywhere in particular? :)

  • wtf how did you do that

  • temperture sensitive paint

  • Where did you get the outfit attire?

  • its heat cloth the color changes in hot or cold hense him breathing creates heat

  • where could one get heat cloth?

  • Actually it's thermochromatic paint applied to cloth, but basically the paint does what the other guy said. Thermochromatic paint isn't cheap.

  • up ur ass

  • very cool! i might have to try making one of these.

  • I knew it would only be a matter of time before someone came up with a moving rorschach mask. Well, looks like I've got a costume to make for next Halloween.

  • This is made using thermochromatic ink, which is sold on ebay i think

  • i wanna know wher 2 get the ink

  • can any1 tell me were to get the Thermochromic ink

  • i dont no where but wen u find outt can u plzz tell me that wood be nice!

  • The Cloth does nothing. The dye is the one changing.

  • plz dude. make a new one and sell it ebay...PLEASE!!!! i'm telling you man you would get a fortune on that mask;););)

  • use thermal patches on your skin connected to a timing circuit that fluctuates temperature. That should make the blotches appear and disappear a little better

  • it wouldnt cool though, the ink would just stay black until the thermal patches eventually cooled.

  • Any way we could get a brandname of the kine you used for this mask? I'd much rather make a "moving" mask than have to make four and switch them out various times during the night.

  • If an ultra-sensitive Thermochromic ink is available, theoreticly, could a fully moving mask be made?

  • if you can produce that much change in temperature in your head, yeah.

  • possibly, but remember that the effect this guy is getting is just caused by the heat of his breath. if you could make a mask in a way that your breath could circulate around more of the face, then it's definately possible.

  • perhaps a few flattened straws connected together to spread the hot air out across the face, and another small straw that runs down the neck to vent air away to cool....you could crush each straw in your mouth to control where the air goes... Or maybe that's just a bit too much ;p.

  • can u mssage me how to make one mask

  • Looks like the blot changes when he breathes. Kind of like when you breathe on a window and it fogs up, I guess.

  • You would be a hit if you post a tutorial on how to make one. So... Why not?

  • WIch materials did you use man? do you sell those?

  • dude awsome

  • how the hell did you do that i have to know

  • how does it work????

  • did you use pantyhose? spandex mask? im trying to make one i have paint don't bi right material though

  • what the name of the ink?

  • where can i buy the thermochromic paint and the fabric used?

  • how much was the thermochromic paint and msds?

  • Guys, that's the same music they had in the watchmen trailer. Hence it's use in this video...

  • do you use Leuco dyes to get that effect ?

  • what material did you use?!?!?!

  • What brand of thermochromatic paint did you use, and where did you get it? I'm not literally "dying to know", but I would like to know.

  • nice, BUT what you need to use is a combination of thermochromic ink AND photochromic ink.

This way you get movement from your heat as well as UV light...

  • You mean an MSDS. A material safety data sheet.

  • song name??

i love this kind of music

  • I think this is that crappy youtube music they make you use to avoid copyright infringement. It's called Audioswap

  • Haha what? No this music is perfectly fine. It's by Smashing Pumpkins and called The End is the Beginning is the End. A very good song. LMAO why would youtube give you this very cryptic and dark music?

  • Will there be any type of written or video explanation for those of us who would love to have a kick-ass mask as well?

  • I was looking around and found a heat reactive paint called "Eclipse". Is that what you are using?

  • Comment removed

  • I heard that eclipse uses formaldehyde in their paint. I know chromazone does. That wouldn't be good to use on a mask...

  • Indeed.

I haven't been able to find any other though. Any ideas?

  • im guessing whatever paint you used or ink is heat sensitive...because the mask disappears and reappears intime and in place with your breathing from your mouth and nose. very clever mind you :)

  • douche

  • lol

  • lol

  • plz make a tut vid

  • just give us the brand of paint or link to the paint plz

  • Could you possibly post a tutorial or something? What type of paint or ink did you use? clearly, it is thermochromatic, but all the heat-sensitive paint I can find isn't indended for fabric...

  • i doubt you could afford it.

He just sold this mask on ebay for $780

  • what paint and material of mask did you use?

  • K please tell me how you did this cause i realy need to know how like il buy the mask off you hahaha

  • I'm trying to film a video and using one or three masks for different emotions on rorschach would be kinda gay so how did you make this? I really wanna know so I can make this video better for the viewers!

  • i know its heat sensitive paint but i can't find. where did you get it? or at least what brand did you use?

  • how do you make it

  • where can I get the sewing pattern for the hood?

yours seems pretty consistent with the film, once I have that, i'll be able to start my underlying design. I'm actually getting it screen printed,

  • Where can I find the music that you used for this video.

  • The track is "The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning" by the Smashing Pumpkins ;)

  • how do u do it ??

  • Comment removed

  • and you are an ignorrant friendless lonely crack baby

  • lol. I wanna know where he got the paint.

  • where do u get the materials

  • where can u buy heat sensitive paint? ur local home depot? lol

  • How long have you worn the mask? The heat sensitive paint you used will get hot from your body temp, so how long does the effect last before you're just wearing a stocking on your head?

  • There's an underlying design, so theres no moment where it is blank. It constantly goes between the two.

  • so basically there where two ink blot designs: one where there was a pre-made design and another where it fills in with the heat paint

  • is there any way to make the real patterns that Rorschach has on his mask?

  • SWEET! r u able to see out of it?

  • Wow! Well Done!

  • You Rock dude

  • WTF

  • that's the best mask i've seen so far.

  • That's pretty cool. Perhaps if you included something of a "pipe" system under that mask, you might actually get real patterns going on. That is awesome, though. Amazing, my friend.

  • i have a feeling that we're going to have alot of Rorschachs' running around even before halloween.lol.(SERIOUSLY)

people are desperate for this mask.
