Well that same argument could be made for a government run public option. All of that is beside the facts, insurance companies have allowed people to die by refusing to cover their treatments. There have been people with many of diseases, cancer for instance, who have died because the insurance company wouldn't cover treatment. Also over 50% of bankruptcies are due to health related costs. Here are two articles that talk about insurances refusing to cover, I will link them to you.

The facts are in 1994 legislation that frank and clinton created causing otherwise stable institutions to give loans to those that would not otherwise get a lone.But thatls only part of the issue.

He has been out meeting people and shaking hands all over the district for over a year now. And guess what, the media is paying no attention to him (big surprise). You are right on, in 2005, Barney Franks and company gambled with the inaccurate numbers and calculations of Freddy/Fanny that was reported by an independent agency. Barney Frank and others stopped the overhaul for new regulations that would have prevented the housing market bubble crisis. Instead, he and others were upset and attacked the agency as incompetent and the reports and findings as inaccurate.

I'm halfway through the bill and believe me it's making me sick. There is a death provision no matter what anyone says. They want a single payer and will force everyone onto the program(socialism)
They also claim that there are 47 million uninsured. Just doing some rough math tells me that we would need 470,000 additional doctors to take care of all these people. What Dr would want to spend $200 grand(for school) to work for the govt. Can you say Dr shortage? This will then lead to rationing.

Well that same argument could be made for a government run public option. All of that is beside the facts, insurance companies have allowed people to die by refusing to cover their treatments. There have been people with many of diseases, cancer for instance, who have died because the insurance company wouldn't cover treatment. Also over 50% of bankruptcies are due to health related costs.
