I was at this game, I remember when he held the brewers lead for an inning and I couldn't for the life of me figure why macha would trot him back out there. But I suppose the brewers might not have released him as soon as they did had he not had this classic suppan failure, sooo I guess the only logical thing to do is fire macha as well.
@ecpcorporations haha and what's he done for the cards? They have a losing record since acquiring him, falling out of contention. Jeff suppan was nothing more than average at his peak and all but one of the worst pitchers in baseball any other time.

Great he leaves a losing organization like Milwaukee and comes home to St Louis to be a winner again. I bet his butt is glad to be out of that place.
