Yeah, it was actually up to nearly 14,200 back in Spring, 2007 but the Bush policies ran that down to 7000 with enough momemtum to drive it even further. Fortunately for the country, Bush's plan, privatization of Social Security, never went though, thank God. Wall street sees the Obama policies are working and now the market is responding upwards. Not to say there won't be stumbling blocks but we did prevent the complete meltdown that Bush created.
