wheel hop. quickest way to snap a drive shaft, blow apart the trans, or rip the suspension out.

alot of the trucks uses mack trans cause there stronger. shameless and the brockasaurus uses 18 speed mack. very few uses automatics. the only ones i know is lady butterfly and just passing thur. but i have seen some drivers shift the manuals dring  a pull. and it during the 100 feet.

@lundsay they dont make an auto big enough they use custom geared 10speed manuals with a 2+ disk clutch they pick 1 gear and run the whole length without shifting

p.s. autos w/transbrakes are for drag racing

@lundsay No. They pick one gear and a big clutch and just get the drive tires spinning at a constant speed and run the whole pull in one gear.

I go to Morrow County Fair every year in Ohio and see the truck and tractor pulls and him or Mike Laribee win the semi series every year
