Ser campeon mundial no significa ser campeon de un mundial.

De acuerdo al propio Rimet después de creada la FIFA,se es campeon mundial cuando las dos selecciones finalistas son técnicamente profesionales.

Belgica es campeon del mundo porque ganó la edición olímpica del 20 pero no reclaman su título.

A partir del 30 las selecciones profesionalmente técnicas, empezaron a recibr dinero por jugar exclusivamente al fútbol y por tanto los equipos del torneo olímpico pasaron a ser amateurs.

Vengo dall'Italia, il Paese campione del mondo uscente, ma ho sempre ammirato l'Uruguay per il fatto che sia riuscito a competere con le grandissime (Italia, Brasile, Germania, Francia e Argentina) pur avendo a malapena 4 milioni di abitanti.
