The options under: Advanced/ HTA/XUL for the System Animator are all grey'd out, unclickable. o_o? help D:?

@Grimchii As the options tab name implies, these options apply to System Animator running in HTA/XUL mode only. In fact, many of the new features of System Animator 5.0 are available only in HTA/XUL mode.

How do you mask wallpaper?

@Cynherr A wallpaper mask is a separate PNG image file of the same resolution as the wallpaper, using the same filename as the wallpaper plus the "_mask" part at the end and sitting inside the same folder as the wallpaper, which uses its alpha channel data (opacity) to define the opacity mask for any System Animator animations displayed over the wallpaper.

@KIWwii96Productions Either you turn OFF the "Use desktop wallpaper as background" option on any animation that doesn't need the mask, or simply remove the mask file from the wallpaper folder.

Got System Animator Beta 2 and Spectrum Analyzer that came with it running the entire day, and sidebar.exe is taking up 400mb of RAM at the end of a day of computer usage.. Closing both the Animator and Analyzer gadgets brings the RAM back to ~30mb. Memory leak? D:

@kfgus3 So I suppose you are running them in the normal gadget mode? There seems to be some memory leak issues with the IE9 version of sidebar. The leak is usually very slow, almost unnoticeable, but some animations may lead to a faster leak. Out of all 3 modes of System Animator (gadget/HTA/XUL), HTA seems to be the most stable version. In the long run, I am trying to make HTA and XUL mode a comprehensive alternative to the gadget mode.

@kfgus3 As a side note, you will have an option in Beta 3 to start any animation automatically at Windows startup :)
