Friendly advice to every1... using photoshop cs3/4 is easier for THEMES... U can take any picture (if ur not creating one from scratch) from ur picture library and reshape the image size > save as > .bmp and so on.. easy ;)

but if u want to use Photoshop to make the icons, just grab a pic, make a new document with the right size specifications, resize the image, do w/e u want to it, then go to Image-->mode-->indexed color-->select your system in the top scroll down (mac or pc), and hit ok......the theme maker program should accept it.......IF you are on a mac, and u want to DL the program to make themes, u gotta DL Darwine, just search google for it, itll let you open .exe files (pc files)

psp themes take too much time to make, sony made is so user-unfriendly that its not even fun, and pretty much any theme you would make (except for like family photos, etc.), has probably already been made, so u can just DL it......

When you name files, it's only working for him because he's selecting PNG as a file type. Calling it a .bmp is wrong - he should have titled them as .png's - if you want a .bmp you have to pull down the menu on the bottom and change the file type. Thanks for the tutorial, though. I now understand that there's a website I can learn this stuff at.

the reason theres no skype is because the theme creator came out before skype did, and sony hasnt updated it.

1. There will most likely never be a skype icon change option because sony does not own them. Sony does not own the location free player company, so they have no icon change option for that.
