There's evidence enough that Bayonetta and Devil May Cry takes place in the same universe. One powerful item in bayonetta was the bangle of time which stated eva was a witch and made a contract with the dark knight(Sparda) and fight against the demons of inferno, whoever possess the item shall be master of witches. Which makes me suspect that it was eva using Sparda like bayo and Jeanne using demons for power, rebel against Mundus. Which led to her supposed death 2000 yr later.

Well the time frame between 3 &1 is about 20 years, so thats plenty of time to come up with something, and besides even if Nero is related to Vergil then there's gonna be something in there relating to that rumor. I don't know, i guess its wat Capcom decides in the end anyway.

I know, it was just a rumor. But still, we don't know, because there is no backstory. So like I said, even if he isn't Vergil's son, there's no way to prove it because we have no past of Vergil between 3&1. So what I'm saying is that if Capcom makes a DMC 5, it should have Vergil and Dante's backstories between 3 & 1 in order to tie up loose ends. That and it will help silence any rumors that fans have been having since the third game.

Oh dear god. This song is beautiful, but it makes me cry everytime I listen to it. The music box adds a kind of innocense and beauty to the track, while the lyrics in the background seem to be Eva's passing thoughts. Just thinking about that, aside from the actual track, makes me tear up.

I'm willing to guess Yamato got broken during Vergil's fight with Mundus. As Vergil in Nelo Angelo form never used Yamato vs Danite in DMC1. I pray to god there's DMC 5 and the return of Vergil (in his original form, no possession of Nero crap) but it's gonna tough to make any sense of it all with what they've done up to this point with the devil arm. =/

the sword nelo angelo uses in DMC1 is Yamato, but nelo angelo is essentually Vergils ultra devil trigger, similar to how Dante turns into Sparda at the end of the game.

cos in DMC3 if you play as Super corrupt vergil you use the Nelo Angelo character.

You can play for Sparda too, just change Dante's costume to Super Corrupt Dante (Or just Corrupt Dante) You'll see, he looks just like Sparda, both human and demon forms.
