  • That ist it! We will try this also. Unfortunately we have no bagpipes jet, but we have a snare drum ;-)

  • Great Piping!

  • awesome piping, and exceptional accompaniment! I just ordered an A440 chanter from Roddy Maclellan. Would it be possible to get the organ music from you?

  • OH MY GOD THIS IS HEAVENLY!!!

  • Beautiful, just the way it should be. I love hearing it in a simple church, with just the organ and a single, really fine piper! The music transforms any space into a highland cathedral. Thank you for posting this.

  • Had to keep replaying this....my eyes are red from weeping, music touches my soul!

I mean good music! thks for sharing this...will keep this handy so can be blessed over and over again!

  • Awsome!!! Very beatiful. Greeting from Romania

  • green hills right?

  • This is just awesome. I walked down the aisle to this beautiful piece of music and it never fails to bring tears to my eyes.

  • Fantastic, heard very few pipes and organ combos aside from a live performance, the few I found on the tube were out of tune with one another, but this one was great.

  • Excellent piping! Where do you get the sheet music for organ?

  • @wbwiles Hi there---e-mail me at mocmus@juno.com and I'll attach a pdf of the organ music back to you.

    Alan

  • sweet! Bill Caudill was my judge at the Richmond Highland games

  • The most beautiful duo of all the world, bagpipe and organ. Thanks for submit.

  • Its amazing you found a chanter where the A is exactly the same as one particular organ's b flat.

  • Actually it isn't amazing. Bill owns an old chanter and uses it because it DOES tune to an organ. Nowadays one can also purchase "orchestral chanters" to play in tune with other instruments.

  • This is just wonderful - it was played at our Church this AM for Scout Sunday

  • Great Tune Great Job!!!

  • I give this FIVE STARS!!!

  • Thanks!! I'm the one on the organ. Bill is playing an old chanter that is about A440 to demonstrate how organ and pipes CAN sound good together.

  • @mocmus

Just a question, is the organ digital or pipe? What is the church's denomination?

  • It is an Allen - digital. It is an Episcopal church on the premises of the North American Academy of Piping and Drumming (NAAPD) in Valle Crucis, NC. The NAPPAD rents out the Episcopal Conference Center every year for six-seven weeks.

  • Good playing, dude!

  • This will be played in our church on Nov 29, closest Sunday to St. Andrews day, along with St. Andrews Hymn.

  • awesome!!!

  • plat it

  • Awesom

  • Very Very nice

  • Great stuff guys. Probably the best bag n organ duo on here

  • Beautiful, I will play in the church this piece, on the occasion of the concert of beneficence to Christmas.

  • Gorgeous! The pipes always sound nice with a great pipe organ - too bad there are not more recordings with the 2.

  • Very clean, well practiced good job.

  • Its calle Highlan Cathedral and was composed bei two german Bagpipers from Berlin/Germany.

    Alba gu brath!

  • Lovely music does anyone know the name of the piece?

  • Look at the title of the video!!

  • Nice! They played that at my dad's funeral at my request.....well done.

  • Do you need any special tuning for the pipes or organ? Sounds great.

  • Yes, Bill used an old chanter from "the day" when chanters were closer to "concert pitch." However, it is possible to purchase an orchestral chanter nowadays, or tape a chanter to approximate concert pitch.

  • Wunderschön! Sehr sehr gut!!!

  • just beautiful!

  • Wow, that was fantastic!

  • Beautiful!....
