  • wheres yer pick jeff B.

  • hey i want your strat so bad so i can be the next buddy holly. yours looks like his.

  • Far out man!!

  • Kid Your awesome.

  • take ur time.......slowwwwww mo

  • congrats mate!

    you've done a good job!

    keep it up!

  • you fingers look like alien fingers haha but you are good nice work =)

  • not eric claptons crossroads.. robert johnsons crossroads.. robert johnson was one of claptons biggest inspirations

  • I've been playing for longer than what you've been alive and yet you're much better than me LOL!!! Great!!!

  • no feeling, just speed....

  • wrong! too fast but brilliant

  • good playing, but, some ulse and intonation along with a metronome would work wonder :)

    KEEP IT UP! you're great!

  • wow that was good

  • great playing! but you should practice with a metronome.

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very nice! :D

i think you'd make clapton proud with sound...

then say mark knopfler proud of the fingerstyle!

    well done!

  • respect!

  • GOOD LORD how can you play that without a pick?! i dont normally use a pick when im acoustic but GOOD LORD IT'S CLAPTON!!!!

  • great job improvision on the solos i really liked it and with everyone else just slow it down a bit and it would sound a lot better but yo keep it up man you got a nack for the guitar great job

  • Wow . You have some serious talent.

  • what amp do you play through? you sound awesome!

  • dude.. you would actually play your fender than ur les paul????

  • i'd take a strat over a les paul any day

  • but, of course, given the chance to use a '335 you'd pick that, right?

  • Well man there all great but i would still take the strat.

  • lol, i worship the ES-335, strat pickups are really nice though.

  • Too right as well! played with a jazz orchaestra recently... And played a strat and an ES-335.. They all preffered the ES-335 for the really deep down blues.. But then the fender strat for sweet stuff..

it's all down to what guitar suits what song...

  • yeah i play in my school's Jazz Band and i normally use my Arbor AJ144(jazz hollowbody, prolly cheapest jazz guitar on earth lol), but recently the director has been wanting solid-body-sound for a few songs, so ill have to bring my Crate(Strat HSS knockoff), so yeah, different guitar for difffernt sound, not really one better than the other i guess

  • i like the fender resonator i have one myself

but my favrite guitar has to be the mosrite ventures

but yeah the strat is still the best

  • sooo cute!

  • great job, always do things YOUR way, dont ever compromise.

  • hahaha wow are people seriously criticizing this kid im pretty sure hes like 12 so shut the fuck up jesus christ

  • Wish I could play like that!

  • God you flew through that. Hold some notes please. Goodness. That is skill right there, but there is no need to be in a hurry. Even live it's not that fast.

  • That is awful. Your tempo is wrong, you play every note with the same beat you need some uniqueness, hold a note out longer...make it your own.

  • if only you slow down a bit...

You would be the next "slow hand"

  • Damn! I'm 25 years old and I been playing the guitar since 1994 - and that guy playes Crossroads better than me! Awesome dude! Ignore the people on here saying you can't play - you most definetly can - and without a pick too - incredible!

  • take your time

  • so fucking out of time

  • dude, too fast...

it is interesting that you're using fingerstyle, though

  • Dude what do you mean this is not good? it RAWKS.. how did u learn to play like that?

  • nice vid and nice playin im definitly subscribing too u!

  • great cover! how old are you?

  • you mean, robert johnson's crossroads.

  • Robert Johnson didn't play it like Clapton, so ya, "Clapton's Crossroads". But then who hasn't done Crossroads? Lets call it AndyKrull's Crossroads just for shits and giggles. But ya Eric Clapton, who called Johnson "the most important blues musician who ever lived" is considered the grandfather of Rock-n-Roll. [wiki]

So all in all, ultimately Johnson should get the credit, and did once you popped in here.

Go to Andy's new site AndyKrull for his new stuff.

  • wow!!

  • wow....i am speechless ! does anyone know how long this kid had been playing for ?

  • 4 years but 3 when i made this video

  • Wow. I've only been playing for a year and a half and I'm not that good, so I'm not sure how good I'll be in 2 years. I don't have any videos on youtube yet of me playing guitar but I will sometime soon.

  • Wow needless to say you are gifted.Keep up the finger picking gives so many more options.I just wish i could pick like that, our band does this song,i'm just an old rhythym player just having fun.Loved it!!!!!!!!

  • You got that classical style pretty well...

  • i ahve that same guitar cept mines a "California" in stead of "Fender" it's basicly a copy company. anyway Nice job kid 5/5 =D

  • Very impressive indeed. Keep it up and you'll certainly go far within the profession.

  • WOW! Just awesome! You are so good! 5*****Jane

  • Wow Andy, that was great!!! I like Eric Clapton too!!!!

  • Pure talent . *****:o)tm

  • I'm back to this one. Great finger pickin' style on this. Keep it up man!

  • I hardly ever use a flat pick. I'm with those who say stick with the fingers. 4****.... five if it was a little slower and you pounded your foot in time.

  • I love how a few people have told you, "You should use a pick." LOL! They're obviously not musicians or they'd know better.

You did get a little "racy" on this one, but you had no backup track, and it WAS a half a year ago, and a lot has changed since then. Your playing itself was right on!

I haven't yet gone back and watched ALL of your vids. I think it's something I should do, like NOW!

    Moosie

  • Played a little fast, other than that great job. 5 stars

  • Great video you rock keep rocking on and you`ll get popular for late night talk shows in the future.

  • i think you do much better using a pick :) you are good though

  • he dont need a pick

  • real nice dude :-D

  • you got real potential there. i would recomed a pick, though.

  • wow you are way out of rythym

  • yeah i know, i'm thinking of doing another video of this song some other time with the track behind me

  • yeah man you should, you got some real skill with that guitar.

  • Cool ... you're covering the cream ... learn "politician" a bit of a twist from just the regular blues ... good work.

  • i used to know that song like a year ago, but all i remember is the main riff

  • good Job mate!

i quote who suggest to use a plectrum

  • That's really really cool

    YOU ROCK!

  • It will be better for you to play with a plectrum.
