I cannot figure out how to reply to anyone directly so I have to do it here. I love having a trolling motor on my kayak. Now that I have it, I couldn't imagine fishing off the yak without it. It frees up your hands and allows you to cover large areas in very little time. I do believe you are required to register the yak once you mount a motor to it but I have been out on mine many times and have never been stopped. Besides, having the motor would far outway the small reg fee you have to pay.
Very nice setup man! Good thinking for the crate setup on the back. :)

but if you put an electric motor on your kayak, you have to get it registered and have a sticker on it,

I am considering doing the same (adding a trolling motor in a similar fashion). Do you like the option? Thanks
