  • Great song

  • Best fucking little solo ever!

  • This song is so fuckin' sexy...

  • D'arcy was one hot babe when she was young.

  • I think we should add Soundgarden; Louder than Love is really good, but very dark; badmotorfinger is original and very strong (a little bit too hard for many people I suppose), and Superunknown is a dark jewel. And Down at the upside is also an amazing album, so Soundgarden were really a greeeeat band; one of my favourites forever. (Even the first EP Screaming life is great when you give it some listens!! ("nothing to saaaaaaaay").

  • Siamese Dream was so f**king epic. Cherub Rock, Today, Disarm, Rocket, Mayonnaise, badass album. I think the only better rock album of the 1990's was Nirvana's Nevermind. Gotta hand it to Butch Vig for producing the two best albums of the 90's. Can't wait for Garbage's new album.

  • @RicoLen1 The thing about the 90's was that every good band was releasing great albums. Nevermind was great, but so was In Utero. SP's next album MCIS was possibly the best double album ever released. Pearl Jam released a bunch of great 90s albums. R.E.M. was better as an indie band in the 80s, but Out of Time, AFTP, and Monster were great albums. Alice In Chains had Facelift and Dirt. And too many other examples to list.

  • @GAdawgsfan93 Yeah I agree. Red Hot Chili Peppers was great at that period too with Blood Sugar Sex Magic and the Soul to Squeeze single from The Coneheads soundtrack.

However as good as those were I still say Nirvana's Nevermind and Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream were the best. I didn't like MCIS nearly as much as Siamese Dream, personally, but I know it was the more successful album.

  • @RicoLen1 I agree MCIS got nothing on Siamese Dream. How I miss the 90s...

  • @GAdawgsfan93 Nothing beats Alice In chains,Layne Stayley is badass. Not to forget Pearl Jam and Soundgarden too

  • does anyone kno what theyre sayin? i love the 90's (:

  • I could watch this over and over again ....

  • By-tor and the Snow Dog anyone? ;)

  • awesome tune!!!!!

  • FUCK VEVOOOOO!!! AND FUCK PITBULL TOO!!!

  • @Apache7500 FUCK YOU!!!!!

  • @andningen FUCK YOU MOTHER FUCKER!!!!!!!

  • @Apache7500 you are definitley right man i would give you a fist bump :)

  • @Apache7500 fuck vevo? for what? giving you music for free?

  • @huppsa I would pay for music just to get rid of Vevo... Besides... music is free here in the internet...

  • @Apache7500 you and me pay a company to connect to it so... is not 100% free, is it?. The idea is to have a place where we can listen to music and check out videos without complications. Artists doesnt need to be promoted by Vevo, Youtube is good enough for it... well... it was. You see? A great site is turning into a mess... and these companies like Vevo are turning this into a big commercial place, trying to sell you shit, making us lose time

  • @Apache7500 because their adverstisments (iam a publicist so i can tell you this is what it is even if you cant see it) delates downloadings. Have you ever seen Mozart promoted here? or a small musician?. Youtube should show me what i want and NOTHING MORE.

  • @Apache7500 Ad blocker bro :)

  • The 90's have to be the greatest decade in the history of the world

  • @lockandreload AGREED

  • I always had a certain prejudice with Smashing Pumpkins, and because of this, the 1st I heard it for real was in Guitar Hero, and after that I realized how bad is prejudice, because I was missing a great band all these years!

  • :!!!!!!!!Arg,,,

  • Thanks YouTube, but I didn't come here for fucking Pittbull

  • who wants that hoooooooooooooney orgasm level 9000

  • I think I just killed my eardrums, but this song still isn't loud enough. damn speakers.

  • This band/song is just amazing how it can be so soothing yet powerful at the same time.

I always when listening to music imagine myself in a place according to the tone and setting of the music. The SP does this amazingly well and i'm always up for listening to any of their songs especilly this one and Mayonaise :)

  • I've read that My Chemical Romance cite SP as an influence, but they can only dream of making a song like this, or any other SP song!

  • ahh, the good ol days.

  • thumb up if Guitar Hero 3 sends you here.

  • Wow, an add before the song for a radio station that only play the current top twenty day in and day out. There is nothing pre 2011 in there play list. Piece of shit!

  • Señor Roll-On! Esto es música! No Ale-Alejandro ¬¬

  • I still get chills done my spine and goosebumps when I hear the intro to this song!

  • Such a great album.

  • Youtube has never hit me with an advertisement. (Mozilla firefox with adblock plus. Install NoScript while you're at it) ;|

  • This song always gets me fired up!!!!!!!!!

  • ¿Quién quiere miel, mientras haya algo de dinero?

  • being forced to watch a pitbull advertisement before this song is just a sin

  • I've seen and heard bands in lats 1 years that were inspired by this band

  • this song is so god-rockly..yeah i just made that up..next yr it'll be in websters

  • @momoyaj God-Rockly???? That totally Rules!!!! That is awesome!!! If you don't mind, I am going to start to use that phrase!!

  • @TheMJtheGOD go ahead!

  • @momoyaj Thanks!! That is so God-Rockly of you!!

    thebestdamnrockblog.blogspot.co.nz/

  • this is definatly a video that defines the 90's. happy yet dreary at the same time. Music held meaning and the sellouts werent as popular. This is such a grat video. Billy was so darn cute. :)

  • yeaahhh those guitar tones are unmatchable. pumpkins have such a dirty yet angelic sound.

  • Why doesn't this have more views?? I remember seeing this on MTV while doing homework in MIDDLE SCHOOL. WTF is wrong with people?@?

  • 4:41-4:43. The best 3 seconds of the video.

  • por el amor a lucifer, que temazo!!!

  • One of my favorite songs of all time, easily. Not rocks songs, just songs period.

  • this song gave me a boner...a 90s boner that is...

  • @felatioable dont tell viagra they might steal that secret formula (90's pumpkins music)

  • @felatioable 20 years of stiff petrification, that must hurt....

  • @felatioable The best sort.

  • @felatioable winning!

  • love this song...even if its older than me

  • Well, richiepap, were all glad you made your point.

  • Didn't watch because of the stupidly long advert at the start. I even paused it to write this when I could have let it run and be listening to the by song now. I'm cutting off my nose to spite my face just so I can make this point:

    Screw you!

  • Jesus, after reading some of the posts about Darcy I checked it out. I'll be honest and say I haven't really kept track of this band properly in along time, even though they were the first band I ever saw live when i was 14.

What the fuck has happened to her? How did she end up like this?

  • @nNexusOne Cocaine's a hell of a drug. She was often the most hesitant to do drugs, according to Billy and Jimmy, but whenever MCIS turned out to be a major hit, she started smoking crack. It really ravaged her face by halfway through the Mellon Collie tour; that's why she always caked on makeup.

  • Vevo made it too quiet!

  • Remember the Pumpkins fondly, as they were 20 years ago.

  • Best guitar riff ever.

  • let me out.. LET ME OUT OF ThIS PRISION FOR OUR MINDS.

  • @slantedandenchanted already did, it's a shame :( 'cause she had model-esque good looks back then.

  • @paulpz2004 like today's fashion is any better...skinny jeans anyone!!!

  • Damn, this brings back some good memories and does anybody else find that back & forth sway the bass player chic does sexy as hell! ;)

  • @Jonesyntube yes, d'arcy was awesome back in the day...she has fallen a long way though :/ google her

  • Is anyone else glad that this isn't completely mainstream, IIIIII personally would see it as an insult to mix this Sacred music with that bullshit they overplay on the radio

  • This is real alternative kick ass music

  • Fuck mainstream music. Rockers, BE THE PROUD MINORITY!!

  • I have new text slang! Lmaof laugh my ass off (while) fuckin

  • 3:06 = One of the coolest guitar solos ever.

  • Don't mind me just my favourite band.

    Continue being faggots.

  • Paulpz2004 is so right....the world today is pathetic

  • este video es mas viejo q el cigarrillo, Pero Hmm si es bacano... :D

  • Still just as great.

  • 400k views only. Holy sh!t I hate young people right now...

  • @nethoser had a good laugh at that one. I've been listening to the Pumpkins for 20+ years and they never get old. The crap playing now days just doesn't have the same depth. No artistry, no individuality.

  • @thezoocrew10 Yep, guess there is a downside to technological improvements. All the bad no talents want to be beibers can just use home PC to create garbage like that shitty Friday song and get 1 million views, then they realize they have no talent and "Friday" was the best they would ever come up with. LMAO. Reverse Darwinism. :(

  • While I might agree that some computer generated tunes sounds good it doesn't mean that your talented just because of it. I mean jesus any spaz can tell the terminator to play a tune.

  • You're all ignorant fucks so shut the fuck up and get off youtube

  • @Hefenstahg Your statement also includes you in the class of "Ignorant fucks". So gain an ounce of knowledge before you comment, Thanks!

  • @Dimethyltryme I see you're mad I'm going to have to ask you to calm down.

  • Guys stop bitching about your generation and being such fucking babies no one gives a shit about your age just because u listen to some SP, RCHP or any other great nineties bands Dosent make you any cooler then anyone else watching this video. im young too but u dont hear me complaining about my generation. if you guys have such a problem with todays music do somthing about it. i think theres plenty of good new rock music around today

  • @DarkShadowBlackz18 Stop bitching.

  • I'm 14 and I fucking hate my generation. I thank God I listened to this at a young age so now I love this style of music. Why can't people my age just follow there own trend and start listening to something good for once.

  • These people spiked their cheerios with LSD.Or Ambrosia and Nectar if that's what you want to call it.But LSD and THC is what we call it now.

  • ,mmmmm

  • Be somebody's fool

  • good point about vevo, havent ever thought of it like that..and @sexuallobster, gucci mane(no thats not a misspell, he actually goes by fucking gucci mane) is a goofy modern day jiggaboo rapper and by jiggaboo dont dare you think im being racist because i love rap just not the ridiculous fucking garbage these retarted lil children are making these days..but if you dress and sound like a clown, well, you get labeled as jiggaboo jive, lol

  • @SaysNapoleon No problem, man. It's okay... :)

  • Former Governer Romney this question is for you:...

    Romney:............

    Santorum: The issue here is........

    5 Minutes later

  • less than half a million hits and lady gaga or gucci mane has like 30 million..god d*** i hate being attatched to this generation

  • @paulpz2004 Honestly, our generation was no better. Look at the number ones of 1993, and it was Mr. Blobby, Fresh Prince, and Shaggy. It's just the rubbish has been forgotten and good bands like this live on.

  • @paulpz2004 I'm with ya man

  • @paulpz2004

Most of SP's songs had at least over a million views, but then they decided to get an official Vevo b/c they're going to re-release everything from Gish to Machina II. Unfortunately getting the official Vevo meant deleting the videos with all the hits :-\

  • @paulpz2004 I gave up on the radio awhile ago, what the hell is gucci mane?

  • @paulpz2004 Lots of vids were originally uploaded by the bands and labels themselves before those cocksuckers at Vevo came along, hijacked them for Vevo's own fucking greed so Vevo could profit off the hit count, and in the process reset the view count back to zero. This vid like many others most likely had millions of views before Vevo hijacked it.

  • @paulpz2004 YouTube didn't exist when this video was made.

  • @barophobia ..this generation is still lame and gay as hell..id take back the ridiculous fashion of the 90's along with the awesome music over todays garbage anytime

  • @barophobia Ok so Lady Gag was like 4 Gucci was maybe 7 or so. Hes saying that this generation is ruined by the fact that shit music like lady gaga.

  • @barophobia Neither did Google....or 90% of the Internet for that matter.

  • @jlw1619 this was from 93. 100% of the internet didn't exist then.

  • @barophobia Sure it did! Youtube made The Pumpkins!!!

  • @paulpz2004 it's not the generation. We are bred into following the herd. This type of music is enlightening and offers alternative perspectives and enhancement of the mind. This is the type of thing the current political and corporate regimes do not want mainstream. Instead artists like lady gaga as you said get the 'thumbs up'. It's actually comforting to know that 400k+ other people find this as uplifting as I do. :-)

  • @schydvs Lady Gaga is fucking HOT!!!!

  • @TheMJtheGOD Uhh...no she's definitely not!

  • @bikri08 Is too!!!

  • @schydvs this is mainstream

  • @paulpz2004

What are you even talking about?

  • the fact that the 90s had musicians and this sad generation has "entertainers" that completely fail at even doing that..now where did you get lost in that cause im willing to lead the blind

  • @paulpz2004 I agree with you bud, but like that other guy said... They got 404k views... like 12 years before youtube was even thought of :3 do you honestly thing Lady gaga will even be remembered in 12 years from now? No...But the pumpkins will be :3

  • @Grahamin3D I'm pretty sure youtube wasn't around 12 years ago it's only like 6 years old or something right?

  • @drinkyourtea your probably right, but 6years\12 years... anymore a new group will be lucky to last 12 months before tanking.

  • how did this not win best hard rock at the 94 grammys ? grrrrrrrr FIX : )

  • @chub grrrrrrrr

  • This song is just... perfection. This is audio perfection.

  • This song makes me feel Invincible!!XD

  • This song gives me a good excuse to piss off the neighbors.

  • Sound is still a bit weak

  • Sound quality is better than most. I'll give VEVO that.

  • Who the hell is going to follow VEVO on Twitter?
