  • This is a "hateful" video. =p

  • Admit it, right when he crashed, you cried.

  • Oh god I cried like a man

  • The fact that he has insurance doesn't prolong his life. It simply means the family will get money when he dies in the crash. No amount of money can buy time - SO BUY THAI INSURANCE!!!

  • The question is

Why is he driving at wrong direction?

  • the heck why can't i stop watching this insurance videos :(

  • why this thai life insurance often make commercials film like thiss? im just curious.. always touching viewer's heart.. :D

  • asians cant drive the cars lols

  • this is the best one even out of the thai insurance commercials

  • Manly tears were shed...

    Then, "Thai Insurance"

    INSURANCE? MOTHERFUCKING INSURANCE? THE HELL?

  • @TheSonOfDumb yes, insurance. it fits the story.

  • @TheSonOfDumb The word under "Thai insurance" at the end is means "always take care of you"

  • @TheSonOfDumb RIght.. its the end that tells you that this is an insurance, not the Title of the video that says "Thai Insurance CM", you can stop lying now

  • what the insurance company can do about it?make his dad alive?or just take his money when he need that money for treatment is like begging for his own money..

  • This hurts so much.. I want to become a musician in my future too, if this ever happens to my family, I will go into super deep depression for the rest of my life.

  • Omg the guy is so cute!!...

  • dam you Thai why cant you have free life insurance

  • crap... why my eyes got wet T^T

  • that's just sad.:(

  • "Kaw Toat" is probably one of the hardest words to say to your parents...

  • I was alright during the beginning, and then... D; it was so instant. This insurance company, man. So touching. </3

  • @lilybabeex3 their newest one is "Silence of Love" I think Silence of Love is the saddest one. My tears fall down while watching this TT

  • It's stupid to ask why Americans don't do commercials like this. If you can enjoy something like Jersey Shore, then what you're basically telling TV producers is that you like barbaric entertainment. Do you think a hardcore Jersey Shore fan can appreciate this without all the alcohol and partying? I don't think so. We don't do stuff like this because we show that we aren't interested.

  • @MissJIZARRO + Most of us like stuff that is FUNNY over something emotional.

  • How would life insurance have helped at all in this situation?

  • @1danyol1 I guess...you never know when you might go, or what regrets you might leave behind, so at least you should have insurance to leave that behind or...something?

  • @1danyol1 I saw the CEO's interview before, he said his whole point is actually not for selling the insurance but to build more relationship within a family. Life insurance is something for the loved ones you leave behind but before that time comes, why don't we make the most of our life?

  • If he didn't get into that car crash he probably would of kept on being a shitty dad who wears sweaty wife-beaters.

  • @RunikaMori He was on his way to support his son for once, he was going to make an effort.

  • Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck my balls. Choking back tears. Swallowing my snot. Shit. Manly tears forced back.

  • Tell the guy who made this commercial to turn it into an asian drama, I'm curious about the rest of the story. :o

  • He had time, wtf is he on about... it's his own damned fault that he was a shitty father, and wishing that he was better isnt enough.

  • @Terdmissle9

that was the point he wanted more time to make up for the fact he was a bad father.

to be there for his son and show him more love.

  • @Terdmissle9 i agree but not so harshly lol

  • i miss my dad!

  • Comment removed

  • QQ

  • "Chai Chaiyawun" the President of Thai Life Insurance company ltd. have said that the main reason of his ad.

is not to "sell insurance" but to create good conscious mind to thai social. Because he believe that when

the whole social is good, all company and organization including to country must be good too. Which is the

    real sustainable development.

hope this can help you. sorry for my poor english.

  • Does anyone know the song title and artist that plays in the video? I would like to find the sheet music to it.

    Thanks

  • this is a little heavy hitting to be on T.V.

  • dear god I was doing so well until it showed all the clips at the end

    ;_;

  • 10 people want more time

  • เอ่อ แต่ทำไม ซับไม่ค่อยขึ้น ?

  • seriously 9 people have NO heart

  • Thats sad ;(

  • Soooo... getting life insurance makes you realize how important life is or what?

I cried, but then I realized how this doesn't really add up.. xD

  • @OhaiPanda Most likely. Think about it, when you get life insurance, you're at a point of your life in which you know it's about to be over. Most people starts looking back and realize their mistakes they've done, and how they should have treasured that time that they did have. Basically this man is saying that since he did not do well with his son, and in the end, thought about all the things he could have done, at least he could do something good for him when he's gone. :'C

  • What the hell, and over here we get those stupid GO COMPARREEE adverts.

  • time out!

  • brb, spending the day with my dad

  • just.. wow

  • What just happened?

  • Meh. At least America has that one car commercial with the suicidal dog. >_>

  • please what is the name of the that melody

  • 90 second work of art.

  • @KillerKennyx you don't get the meaning of this video . it say i wish i have more time ... to do something with him . to love and take care him more . overall meaning i wish to do somethings for him at least .

  • it poke right through your heart . yes , this is part of life - cry -

  • it's bound to melt your heart.

  • That doesn't make sense. Insurance doesn't prevent deadly car crashes, it pays for them.

  • and im crying like a baby :'0

  • i cant stop crying :((

  • It was like watching a movie. They just don't make them like that here in the US.

  • @shadowxps Yea they dont make em like this in the US because its all about money and power here. Over there they actually care about each other.

  • @JTjason896 True enough. We enjoy our comedy commercials.

  • @JTjason896 What? This has nothing to do with caring for each other or making money or having power. It has to do with relating the commercial to the product, which this failed to do miserably. This was not a commercial. This was a sad, short story with a random logo at the end.

  • @hotfudgemonday12 Derp you must be skin-deep in meaning then. If you don't know what the short, sad story was trying to imply then you are exactly what JTjason described.

  • @hotfudgemonday12 I agree with you that this is nothing to do with caring...what's the logical connection?

"I was a bad father, but luckily I had life insurance, so at least you won't starve."

Or maybe "If I had life insurance, I'd be a more attentive driver, and I wouldn't have died."

    Life insurance doesn't prevent death...

It's a commercial designed to manipulate emotions and sell a product--life insurance. Period. It's marketing. Not caring. There's a BIG difference.

  • This is very sad, and at that part with the truck it was like..I dunno...I was stunned, I guess is the best word. But.......I smack myself for giggling at how it just came out of NOWHERE. My mom won't buy life insurance because a few other people in my family passed right after they bought some. D;

  • yeah hahaha the truck did came outta nowhere :D

the driver fukin drove on the wrong side of the road

  • Where the hell did that truck come from?

  • truck came out of FUCKING NOWHERE

  • Asians and their driving.

  • THIS MADE ME CRY!!!!! I literally went to TermLifeAssurance, org and bought life insurance today, this is horrible =[ =[ =[ =[ =[

  • i don't know why my eyes are teary but i'm pretty sure i should buy some insurance

  • This is one of the saddest commercials I have ever seen...... How come we don't have commercials like that?

  • @JDfanforever

because we are americans. most of us aren't born with more than half a heart.

  • @kaotic070 i wouldn't be able agree with that statement without insulting you unintentionally since i'm canadian, one of the ultra nice and ultra quiet people :)

  • @JDfanforever

i dont give a damn if im american. rant away buddy.

  • @JDfanforever Thats because commercials are getting shallower

  • @JDfanforever Cause we europeans mostly set on unexpected or funny images when having to create ads.

This is touching and quite heavy.....

  • @JDfanforever So does he die in the end?

  • @loveukissdongho That's really sad...

  • This is one of the saddest commercials I have ever seen. How come we don't have commercials like that?

  • Geico might wanna rethink their cave-man commercials.....

  • what a mean commercial

  • oh my god. I cried

  • dammit, i really like this..

    makes me sad too

  • i thought i was an emotionless rock :'(

  • HHHNNNNNNGGGGG

  • you're funny.

  • wow, thanks for barking, pitbull.

  • Thais are all very poetic. They create the most touching and the most hilarious commercials, movies and everything really. I barely shed a tear for Holywood films, but I'm crying like a dog watching these commercials!

  • stupid dog

  • ...god dammit...so fucking sad...can you imagine watching this like, every 5 minuets on t.v?

  • What's the band called? Concert?

  • Nothing like ever makes me want to cry except this companies commercials. I swear.

  • Thats so sad

  • wtf !! watch video first b4 comment, now get outta here

  • it's amazing that no matter how obvious the irony in a comment is, someone will always think it's for real

  • youre clearly very touched by the video

  • now you've watched video

  • lrn2irony, idiot.

  • Wow. That'll make me buy insurance.

Not like any of the Geico shit that tells you you'll save 15% or more on car insurance.

  • LOL. I know right. that was kind of graphic though but verrry convincing.

  • I would probably buy some thai insurance after watching this.

  • Glad i'm not selling insurance right out of college....

a better job offer came along at the right time and I happily resigned! WooHoo~!

  • let me just get it over with.

    the son is fucking HOOOOOTTTTTTTTTT!

okay, im done. and reallyy sad commercial. i cried/,:

  • yeah the son is cool haha~~ ^^

  • Ah, damn this is the saddest of the Thai Insurance commercials. This one just gets me every time.

  • wah i cried when i first saw this, really didn't expect that to happen

  • ya thts right he better be sry!!!

  • That crash was unexpected. )=

  • that is it. i'm nevar driving on the wrong side of the road evar again!!!! this shit scared me strait.

  • This has got to be one of the most sad commercials I've ever seen, brilliant in that sense.

  • ROFL, in the end it's an insurance commercial. Sad.

  • It's about GIVING to your family after you're dead. Basically telling peop;le that they could die at any time and that they should buy insurance, and making them think about the people they love that are gonna be left behind, so they wanna buy insurance for them.

you're all idiots. PLease remove youself from the genepool.

  • You know you could have had an actual argument there but then you decided to stoop and just remark that we're all idiots and you lost all value in your statement.

  • I realised it was dickish as soon as i posted, sorry guys lol

Fuck you, 4chan, ruining me for the rest of the internet.

Whatever it means, it's still a pretty awesome advert.

  • Go on and blame others. 4channers are so quick to blame the rest for their own failings, despite clinging desperately to the notion that they aren't a part of any "community" at all.

Grow up. Realize that you aren't the only ones on the internet. Regular people (including adults: you know, those people past 17) use the internet too. Think to yourself, "Am I posting in my usual forum of teens who view themselves on unrealistic self-assuring terms , or am I posting for the world to see?"

  • calm down dumbass. do you think you actually changed his behavior with that post?

    4chan pwns you.

  • rules 1 and 2 apply to raids only, newfag.

p.s. your secret club has over 5 millions visitors a day.

    get a fucking life.

  • omfg shutup and cry. T_T

    then buy life insurance.

  • rule 1 and 2 newfag

  • get over yourself loser

  • ...What. Chill, every oldfag knows that 4chan is full of shit now. Calm down, you're not some great minded philosophical asshole. You're a regular one. Thanks for pointing out what everyone knows, that 4chan is now the cesspool of the internet.

  • How will life insurance give the guy any more time? He'd still die even if he had life insurance. My logic overpowers any emotions I would have while watching this.

  • cdub, youre missing the point.

  • erm.. if he was missing the point please explain what point did he miss

  • QFT these commercials have no logic whatsoever, whats next? theyre going to relate a platypus to insurance?

  • It's an advertisement for insurance. Therefore the point is you need to buy the insurance. At what point would having insurance give you more time to spend with your family if you die? Please tell me where I missed the point.

  • i think you misunderstood my post, i said QFT because the commercial is stupid and doesn't have anything in common with insurance, giving money to your family when you die does not infact = more time.

  • Damn AZNs, gets me all the time... D'=

  • i remember i cried the first time i saw this :(

  • Pay attention to the road. There are large industrial vehicles moving at rapid speeds there.

  • LOL

    this is so typical though

mainly cuz i've seen too many stuff like this

  • i lost T___T waaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

  • it still cant make me cry

    whats wrong with me

  • what happend 2 the son??????????

  • So, what exactly happened here?

Was the first part a lie, or the second?

    I bawwed.

  • The way I see it, it was the second part that was a lie, or rather, what he wished had happened, i.e. what he would have done (right this time), if he can relive those years with his son.

  • oOH GOOD LORD WHY IS THIS SO SAD *CRIES*

  • i cried

    so hard

  • Comment removed

  • Absolutely horrible, a collision like that would send the car flying into the trucks windshield.

  • i almost cried

  • Does anyone know the name of the music that plays during this ad?

I'd like to get my hands on it.

  • I almost cried. =\

  • I would think he has a good chance of surviving that. :P

  • Time Insurance? I need to get me some of those!

  • "Luckily, I saved 15 dollars on my car insurance by switching to Geico."

I'm a hack but I made myself smile.

  • lol wut

  • Well, after he gets out of that mess I'm sure he'll get the drivers number, then take a taxi to his son's concert, then get the company to pay for repairs and live happily ever after.

    ...right?

  • A more lyrical translation: "I wish I had more time than this... Time in which I could tell my child : I love him more than anything else in the world. I'd like to use the time to understand him, more than this... I'd like to listen to the things he has to say.. I want to converse with him, and listen to his music, his song. And I want to say I'm sorry... Like I said, I wish I had more time than this.. Time to do the things we haven't yet done.. Time to love, and look over him more than this.."
  • :/ doesn't make much sense, even as an ad... still nearly made me cry though.

  • kinda manipulative to use something like this to sell insurance, hm?

  • NO AIRBAGS WUT

  • insurance wouldn't have given him more time

    fail

  • lol i agree

  • I can't believe so many people don't think this is totally cheesy, melodramatic and over the top. Gosh, what happened to subtlety and artistic taste in commercials? Yeah, I'm gonna go cut myself, cry, hug a kitten or jump from a bridge watching this smaltz.

  • Yeah you've obviously never been to Asia lol.. This kind of thing is WAY more common than in the west. People are a little less cynical over there, maybe a bit more naive. Is it a bad thing? I don't think so...

  • Well if Middle East is still considered Asia the I grew up in Asia, and I know exactly what your talking about. However cheese is cheese, no matter where it comes from. Maybe we Eastern people don't see it because we are so buried so deep in it. But it's not necessarily a good or tasteful thing, just like subtlety is by no means a sign of cynicism. I always thought less is more and sometimes the things you don't say or show are the ones that have the biggest impact.
